It sucks to see a game you've spent plenty of time in for the past 2 years go down the drain by introducing heavy, non-pity, gacha.


To elaborate a bit. The dev has been on a slippery slope for a while now with introducing more and more paid for rng-based bonuses, but so far they've mostly acquirable with enough time without spending a dime.
This update he instead opted for a non-pity, rotating, gacha-fest that you can roll on once a week without paying a purchase only currency. On top of that the odds of getting the most broken "pet" has a base chance of 0.28%, scaling up to 0.84% at a tier 4 (or 5, I don't really know) roll.
Speaking of the "roll tiers": The tier passively increases as you roll which both increases the odds of finding rarer units, while also increasing the cost of rolling with your paid currency. This in itself is an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ move, but the dev also made it so that the final tier has a lower chance/currency chance of getting you the high end pets.
I.E.
The more you pay, the more it costs to get what you want.
