Early Access Review
I wanted to play Depth with my best friend, but then I realized that you needed a full group to be able to play (as far as I know). Depth also has a bigger price tag, and they sell the shark skins as DLC, which are all turn offs for me.

I happened to see this game, and I wasn't sure if it was any better. I did my research, picked it up--at a steal for $2.99--and I can glowingly recommend it!

I can hop in solo if I want to kill some sharks, but more importantly, I can host a private game for me and my friend to play together. We can kill each other (with sharks competing) in Death Match. We can hold the sharks off together in co-op mode. Or I can hunt her down and eat her in Predator mode.

There is no requirement to include anyone else, which would kill the game's fun for me.

If you're a hardcore gamer, and you want something super developed (like a AAA shooter), then this might not be the right choice for you.

If you want a deeply beautiful game with solid, tight controls and very scary sharks, then this is the game for you.

I scream soooo much when I play. So happy. Thanks!

They really shot themselves in the foot by not just tying this into the Borderlands franchise.

This honestly feels just like Borderlands (in the wonderful story mode) with so many new characters and QoL improvements. I'm finally going to put BL2 down as my default shooter.

It's a real shame that they tried to migrate to a new IP. They really hurt themselves because people don't understand what Battleborn is.

This is one of my favorite co-op games; it's just so much fun. I was originally unsure, because the graphics seemed a bit cheesy. Like the Borderlands series, it's very stylized, and things just flow once you get into the game. It's a beautiful game, both visually and in mechanics.
