I discovered this game via a Youtube video yesterday and bought on impulse by the thumbnail alone and this game did not disappoint.

It has a unique charm that I am just in love with. The art style is simplistic but gorgeous alongside all of the themes you can choose from.
One thing I wish I had was the ability to customize the colors (but that's a want, it does not take away from the game in any way by not having that option.)

Gameplay wise it flows beautifully, the only thing I could recommend in terms of balancing is maybe the prestige system? I was able to easily complete the game by only using 24 prestige points, with plenty of unlocks still waiting for me to get (and a decent amount of time invested to get there.) So at this point with the game complete, the extra blessings I have yet to unlock don't feel worth it to go for at this point. Maybe adding post-ending content?

Overall, a wonderful game that for the price I would recommend to anyone who loves idle games with that bit of whimsy and magic elements that I enjoy so so much!

First impressions are mixed.

- Graphics
- The graphics are beautiful and the game runs smooth.
- I have experienced no issues with graphics yet.

- Audio
- The music is decent to listen to, it is similar to civ 6 in some regards but not as good overall.
- Turn sounds are non-existent as far as I can tell, which is a huge negative for me. Because turns can sometimes take a little while, I rely on turn timers to let me know it's my turn again. Please add this back.

- UI
- There is a lot of negative space in the UI which is a major turn away. Civ 6 did UI very well, it was clean and compact.
- Very "wordy" text. This was somewhat a problem in Civ6, but seems to have carried over/gotten worse in Civ 7. Some slight trimming would do wonders to remove the very bulky paragraphs.

Right now in its state, I would not recommend this game to anyone. There is a lot to work on for this game to shine the way it should, and I hope some of these things are looked at! I will change my review/rating when if I see improvements.

Absolutely love this game! You will spend hours and hours on this game and never want to sleep, basically locking yourself in a dark corner playing until you go crazy. Alright, maybe not THAT much, but you will be addicted!

I absolutely love this game! Highly recommended, you get way more than your money's worth and you will enjoy hundreds of hours of entertainment!


Edit: Still love it to this day, havent played it much recently but it still feels fun to play!
