I am absolutely astonished with this games community to be one of the only communities to successfully push back a corporation like sony. We Helldivers united for a greater cause, to save a game from mass extinction just because some bigot corporation wanted money. Get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ sony.

The ladder is apparently a weapon, and it makes a nice metal "thunk" noise when it kills someone.

This game is very fun with friends. However, a large amount of its content is behind a pay-wall that you are going to have to catch on sales. Conveniently, those sales do happen rather frequently, as well as buying keys off other sites. I would recommend this game despite all the recent backlash if you have friends that want you to play. There is plenty to do, and the power grind through every season isn't there anymore making it easier to be casual with it.
