The "endings" i feel could use a little more... something.
Towards the end, i felt the game to be a wee bit to grindy, kind of, bu just as that feeling was about to really nag at me, i had everything unlocked and was on my way to deal with the final dude.

It's rare for me to 100% a game, mostly because i just can't be bothered, but here it happened pretty naturally. Almost like a linier game.

I enjoyed my time with the game quite a lot. Worth the money.

Would love if i could play a new game plus or at least now have access to cheats or something to give me like... i don't know... 5k of every resource. except them distortion shards. I think it could be fun to try and "speedrun" ending 3 :P
Oh well. I had some fun at least.

Even with the unoffical fix mod, sound is still absutely botched. Not to mention how poorly it runs even on medium. Not thank you. Who ever ported this clearly didn't know what they were doing. Or was WAY to lazy. One or the other.

My experience is buggy, hostile modding scene and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ground AI with a feeling like it's SUPER laggy in single player. Crap game. It gives me a feeling of an Asset Flip a lot of time.

I know i got 560 hours in this. Because it DOES have something in the gameplay that highly appeals to me, and not many other games scratches this itch. But I have hit my limit with this crappy game.

I won't put any more effort into this "review", since the devs clearly didn't put any effort into their "DLC".

To many bugs. If the devs are to lazy to fix them, then i'm to lazy to write a helpful review. Up yours!

The only "positive" thing in this review i can put, is the gameplay premise is interesting. But it could also been done much better. 4/10

I'll try keep this short:
This is the most adorable game i have played in recent time.
Slime Rancher 1 still beats it by a mile in my book, but it's super dang close.
Have yet to try Slime Rancher 2, but it looks really awesome too.

The movements are snappy yet feels sooooo good!
I have yet to try any "combat", if any. I randomly ended up with the ants first.
Still got the other places to explore.
But i can feel that by the end of the game I'd crave more of this adorable game.

This is truly a hidden gem!
If you like 2D platformers, your going to love this lovely little game. <3

Early Access Review
Such a wonderful gem of a game. Worth every coin if you like Thief series. just know, you ain't knocking dudes out, your killing 'em. But that's about the one gameplay difference i could see. I played with Half Moon difficulty, and no vision cones on the dudes. I felt like i was playing a different character within the same Thief universe.

Like so many, I want MORE!!!

I kind of wish we had some kind of night-vision upgrade to the lantern or something, They can't see me, but i can see in perfect darkness :D

I know this is not a Thieving game, but would love to get bigger inventory AND more loot to collect. Don't get me wrong, game is fun. But being able to loot more stuff would be way more fun!

Early Access Review
This is a good game, truly, but it does have a few "short comings" that could use some refinement.

Mainly the sneaking element. I find enemies to "telegraph" less that they see "something" instead of just a progress bar increasing.
I find that relying on the hud to know their observational state to be immersion breaking. So much so I did what the devs most likely hate people do to their game; Cheat.

The bizarre huge damage the enemies do, feels also weirdly out of place, and the revival mechanic is also not fun for me.

But once i used something like Cheat Engine to make my character Regen health at 3hp/s regardless of combat, and double stamina and triple stamina regen, I started to have a LOT of fun. I still died a ton, but I felt less punished for being a bit reckless.

The one thing i guess i could really complain about is the weapons. There is something about them that just feels "Meh".
I could never really find a weapon i really enjoyed, although the Bone Knife was clearly my favorite until made useless in Act 2, which i hated. No way to upgrade it or the like. I REALLY enjoyed the knife, and the enemies bloated health pool just meant i had to stash my lovely knife. It's clear where the Devs was trying to go fore, but i felt punished for enjoying a weapon in act 2.

The bloated health pools nearly always feels lazy in any game, and it was the same here.
Instead of thinking of new ways to mess with the player, they would rather just bloat HP of enemies.
I'll still play through BW act 2, but if enemies health a bloated even more in act 3, then i don't really have must confidence in the creativity of the devs.

I enjoy mostly everything else. Love the enemy designs, although they could use a minor variety. Different colored dresses or pants, different kinds of pants, etc... Not a lot, just something to add a little variety. The game had a dry feeling to it due to lack of variety.
The upside, it allowed my potato computer to run this game just fine.

Oh, and had to kill the music in act 1, haven't heard if act 2 is any better... But holy heck... the short looping music track in act 1 is annoying!
When i get back in the game, i'll give act 2 a chance, but i do not have any hopes it's any better. Some weird design choices throughout this game, nothing bad, just weird.

Would love to play a NG+ with some kind of OP Rapid firing gun and just mow down anything and everything in my way, no ammo limit or the like. just a fast gun, little thought, true American way; Spray and Play.

Physics needs a redo. Everything acts like it's made of mat rubber and items collision box is way to large.
I'm currently trying to get the red keycard as the only thing, and then i'll call it quits for this game until the ue4/ue5 update, at which point i'll come back and see if it's worth my time. if not, i guess i'll find something else to do.

At this point, the physics are quite annoying. You end up "fighting" the physics rather than working with them.
And while holding an item, rotating them feels wrong because the controls a reversed. And there is no way to reverse/invert the rotational direction when rotating held items.

I'm to curious to let go of the game now, but once i got that blasted red keycard, i'm outta here.

Leviathan goes rawr every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ minute.
And i'll still whine about limited inventory space... But modding got my back <3

9/10 - Lacking more deco stuff for my home base :D
