if you love trpgs but are getting tired of all the great indie devs emulating ogre tactics and ff tactics while wondering where the fire emblem/langrisser love is at then this is your game. It is hands down THE best non-fire emblem game that falls under the latter category of styles and punches so far above its weight class that at one point while playing i idly wondered if they poached an intelligent systems game designer or something (they didnt).

It's not a story about saving the world, it's a story about finding peace. If finding that peace just so happens to save the world then so be it.

If you want to love dwarf fortress but cant get past its GUI (or lack thereof) this is the game for you! while in its current build it lacks some of the depth and scope of DF, it makes up for it with its solid ui and gameplay features making this an enjoyable little adventure. Update 14 adds customized starting options to further tailor your playstyle as well. TLDR if youre a fan of Sims i highly recommend this game. its one of the best there is.

Its also really fun!! for anyone worrying whether this is just another half baked Metroidvania game dont be fooled! its really well made!

I built a catapult and tried to launch a bomb at a windmill. My bomb ended up flying the opposite direction, but not before launching my catapult at my target and destroying it.

I'll take Marlow Briggs over grumpy ol' Kratos any day :)

A fun platformer to waste away that spare time. combat is simple yet feels good, a bit of combo potential thrown in, and just the right amount of challenge...RECOMMEND!

Very Fun Game! I've never played the original X-Com so i wont draw comparisons, but as a its own game I found it was very well done. Bugs aside (of which i've run in to very few) combat is addicting and makes you think about every move you make; more so with Ironman mode enabled. The base management is also well done lots of stuff to research that will make your guys more badass. Recommended if you like strategy/turn based games with lots of thinking.
