I remember when Capcom used to add cheat codes to their games.
Now Capcom call us cheaters if we use mods and wants to install malware on our PCs.
Pass.
Hard pass.

Good old Capcom: Knew what fun was and even added secret cheat codes to their games.
Present day Capcom: "If you mod your single player game that's cheating!"

Cheats for Darkstalkers 3 from when Capcom was cool and didn't sell alternate costume DLCs:

*Play as Darkstalkers Rikuo Highlight "Rikuo" on the Character Select screen, hold Select and press any button.

*Play as Female (Marionette) Shadow At the character select screen highlight the ? box and press Select 7 times, then press any button.

*Play as Image Talbain Highlight Talbain and hold Select, then press all three Punch buttons at once

*Play as Lilligan Highlight "Lillith" on the Character Select screen, hold select and press any button.

*Play as Male Shadow At the character select screen highlight the ? box and press Select 5 times. Then press any button.

*Play as Memory Restored Victor Highlight "Victor" on the Character Select screen, hold Select and press any button.

*Play as Night Warriors Talbain At the character select screen, highlight Talbain, hold the Select button and press all three Punch buttons together.

*Play as Shin Bishamon(Oboro) Highlight Bishamon at the character selection screen. Then, hold Select and press any two Punch or Kick buttons simultaneously. Alternatively, highlight Bishamon, then hold L2 then press any Punch or Kick

You deserve every single negative review you get, mine can be reversed, but can your backwards out of touch policies? Remains to be seen.
There are no nude mods that justify you droping a nu... bomb on your catalogue and pretending it's because of cheating.

Whereas I merely modded your single player games before, you're forcing me to actually cheat where I source your games from going forward.

The game that saved the franchise from what RE4 had made it, an action adventure slopfest with more explosions than suspense that no one took seriously anymore. Good times.

Too bad Capcom's Renaissance lasted so little and they decided to turn against their own fans.
No, I won't play games with DRM, I don't do it for any other company. Why would I do it for you?
I think you misunderstand the nature of our deal, I owe you nothing, not money, not loyalty and certainly not my ability to customize how I play the games I own.

You can't stop me from just torrenting your games from now on, even if it's 90% DRM, I will still play them with mods just because I CAN!

I want my thousands of dollars back! The coins I left in your stupid SF arcades, all the physical games I bought over these last 30 years, and the hundreds I've spent here on Steam!
I want all of it back. The only way we're ever gonna get even now is if I stop paying for Capcom releases until I'm 60. That, I can and will do if you declare war on my single player moddifications.

I mean, the game is passable, not as good as the original but the only reason people buy this 3h game is so they can dress Jill up. No mods and you just bought a RE2 remake asset flip.

No DRM and full mod support is the minimum I ask of a company selling me games on Steam.

If you wanna be like Ubisoft I'll treat you just like Ubisoft who haven't seen my money in years.
You just make it easy to chose which company to support with my finite disposable income and which to torrent their games. This "War", you cannot win, the more you fight US, the more you stand to lose.

Better cater to our needs and not those of media parasites, because those guys don't pay your bills.
