All I feel needs to be said about this game is that you should install the Long War mod.

it's alright

Noting how positive the reviews are, and generally how un-review-like they are, I thought I'd change this review to being a general note of caution as well as re-writing all I had for the review as I'm sure the problems I encountered have all been patched by now.

The game is an all round mediocre but fairly charming JRPG originally developed for PS Vita. It doesn't look very good.
There is no display on screen for keybinds if you do not have a controller.

The localisation is pretty heavy handed, and unfortunately the game does not have 2 subtitle channels as far as I'm aware, so if you have English text it will often conflict with the Japanese dub (could be fairly annoying for dual linguists who may want to play with English text).
I also heavily recommend using the Japanese voice over unless you like sitting in silence since the English dub has significantly less scenes actually voiced.

If you know enough of the Neptunia series and it's style of humour, and like it, go ahead. The charming aspects will probably carry your time through the game.

If you don't, there are better games out there for your money, even if it is only on sale for under 10 quid, dollars, or whatever your currency may be.

I recommend this game because it's fun and well polished, but I could never actually justisfy paying for this game full price.
