I've been playing PZ for a decent bit now and I can honestly and proudly say it has been one of the most engaging survival games I've ever played. It is an extremely realistic experience that stands out in the world of zombie games, and it truly is the outlier out of all the zombie games I have played over the years. Every playthrough feels unique which gives it infinite replayability, and every silly death is a lesson learned.

The level of detail is just out of this world, and really immerses you into the game. You're not just worrying about the silly zomboid creatures, hell, they're the least of your worries. You need to manage fatigue, hunger, thirst, and even your damn mental health, the passive elements of the game are also very vast and enjoyable. You got farming, foraging, crafting, building, etc. Hell, you could even cook five-star gourmet meals if you really wanted to!

And if that wasn't enough, the modding community is *so talented*. Like, I can't stress this enough. You can do basically anything with PZ thanks to the amazing modding community. Honestly, I’d even go as far as to say the mods sometimes surpass the base game’s content. Of course, the vanilla experience is already fantastic on its own, but if you’re into customizations and moar fun, the modding community makes it all possible. (love you guys)


TL;DR, I so recommend this game, 11/10, defo my new favorite game and I'm excited for what's to come.
