Game has come along way since release, doesnt excuse the poor launch but its good to jump in and have some social halo seshes from time to time

After playing this all the way back when it came out over a decade ago I distinctly remember being left with a bad taste like WaYu just spat in my mouth and took my money. Coming back to it almost 10 years later I decided to give it another go, a retrospective playthrough. To my surprise I had alot more fun this time around and the stasis interrupted dlc story was quite enjoyable too, listening to Michael Biehns; Hicks and Lance Henriksens; Wayland/Bishop had me wearing my nostalgia goggles tightly. That being said its still not without its issues, poor cinematics and human character models, a flashlight with the power of an electric toothbrush and alien/human AI being pretty meh at times. I would pick this up on a an upcoming sale if you're looking for something to scratch that Aliens itch. "Oorah to Ashes" Marines and good hunting.

Still has a long way to go but miles above what EA and DICE are offering with BF2042
