Everyone's in an uproar over microtransactions, when they literally have no impact on the game itself. What you wear has very minimal impact on the game itself, and you can rock all black t-shirt and pants and be totally fine. So, everyone is in an uproar over items going to charity. While they just added 2 new sets of cosmetics for free.

About the actual game: It's fun, and at first really hard. This is my first battle royale style game and it took me almost 80 hours before i got my first win. But once you get good, man every game is fun. Sure every once in a while you'll land somewhere with someone else, get unlucky with loot, and die. But then you start up again, and maybe the next game you get 10 kills, or a win, or headshot someone 500 meters away, or all three.

I've never had a game other than League of Legends with this much replayability without getting bored. And I'll support this game through almost anything, because for half the price of a AAA game I'm getting 10x more enjoyment out of it.
