Just to echo what other people have said, before reading ANY reviews on this game, I cant stress enough how much better it is to play this game entirely blind. This game is so fantastically well thought out, and spoiling yourself only takes away from the experience. Set some time aside, go in by yourself or with a friend or two on discord, and work through this game without any help. You won't regret it. Now stop reading the reviews before you ruin this amazing game for yourself.


This game is an amazingly well thought out horror game that really effectively plays into the "lost game" trope, and is by far the best i have seen this trope pulled off. The game has a lot of ARG aspects to it, which makes it even more fun when screen sharing it to a friend or two over discord as you can work out the puzzles together, and bounce theories off of each other. The suspense and build up to scares are done so perfectly that it almost makes you want to stop playing because of how scary it is, but the mystery of how deep the game actually goes keeps you playing. The use of sounds and audio is also amazing, because of the way its placed in the game it really keeps you paranoid and prepared for a scare. The use of the soundtrack is also fantastic, as it really captures the feel of an old Nintendo 64 game perfectly. I only really have a few problems with some of the puzzles, like the puzzle where you have to check your achievements to get the code to the door, as that took me and the group I was playing it with a WHILE to figure that one out. But that isn't a massive flaw as in that area you only need to complete two of the rooms instead of all three to progress, so chances are the player will not get too stuck on that room and will try the others instead. The plaza is also the scariest thing I have ever had to play through. I still want to keep this review as spoiler-free as possible so i haven't gone super in-depth, but I just wanted to say well done to the Dev team for making such an amazing game, and I can't wait to see what you guys do in the future.

literally the best soundtrack and story in the entire series, i hope they make a kiwami 3 so this game has 0 drawbacks because the combat is awful, but honestly worth suffering through

After we lost the match both teams just started screaming at each other, its just like the original

Nearly broke my controllers, fingers and basically everything within a 2 metre radius of me 10/10 would recommend
