Without optional power ups the game takes roughly 4 hours without prior knowledge. With backtracking at the end of the game and a guide it takes 5 hours for every achievement. Since there is no map it takes a while.

I bought it for 8€ in the Autumn sale of 2022, I think a game should be worth roughly 1 hour of game play for every euro I spend. So while I think it was fun, I don't consider 20€ (Full price) worth it at all, and 8€ neither. There seems to be mods, but I don't really care about those so I'll disregard them. If you think that's worth it get it, otherwise watch a YouTube video.

It's a nice little game, which would really benefit from a larger inventory and recycling of old furniture.

Early Access Review
So I bought it on EA Release and have "beaten" it in 18 hours on easy. Meaning I have beaten it on civilian difficulty with the 5 backgrounds available at the moment.

So far I mostly used single handed swords at that's been a blast even though I think it is quite easy, once you roughly know what you are doing.

If you enjoy "war of the roses" or "Chivalry" and wish there would be a gladiator mode this is right up your ally.

It is very well optimized concerning loading times. There are some bugs, but since it's a solo developer, he warns about it, it's day 2 in EA I don't mind too much. Bugs are mostly physics glitches which have no real effect. They just look wonky. Once an enemy was stuck in the ground, once my weapon thrown out of the arena through disarmed, but got thrown back a couple of terrifying seconds later. Extra coins you can occasionally find in barrels float in the air and you cant get them, but that's all fine. The game is a lot of fun and I will be continuing to play it. Highly recommend if the trailer seems to be your thing.

Also there is a demo so just check that out if you are not sure.

I played through the game twice, once in 2018 before the "Breaking Dead" update and around the Summer Sale of 2020 when I purchased the Stranger Sins dlc.

The premise of the game is that you are taken from your normal life (as we know it) and partner and transported to a fantasy medival setting. You are put in Charge of a Graveyard and everything that follows with it. You learn relatively soon that to return to your love(partner) you have to open some kind of portal. So everything you do is furthering that goal by helping six npc which show up on different days during the six day week.

Before the Breaking Dead update it was a very grinding experience since you had to do everything which was a bit tiring, but now with that flc you can have zombies which do some amount of work for you. Very Helpful!

So you might be wondering if you would enjoy this game, that depends answer the following do you like:
- unlocking new buildings and technologies
- building and in a minimal fashion customising what is yours
- optimising your plot of land (with Zombies which do work for you)
- growing your own crops (not so much as in Stardew Valley)
- working towards a goal
- games which are NOT punishing, if you die you simply respawn with losing anything
- and maybe some amount of grinding (depending how you play)
- fetch quests

Than I would recommend the game.

BUT if you like story, I heavily encourage you to get the Stranger Sins dlc. Because without it, the story is very lackluster.

So I bought this game when it first came out or short after I don't quite remember. At the beginning it was a lot to learn, and then came the changes. With every change I have the feeling I have to relearn the game for the first 5+ hours of game play. Which is a good thing, it always stays fresh.
People you have to buy all the dlc to enjoy paradox games, which is not necessarily true. What I really like about Stellaris is, that you can use all the dlc the host of a multiplayer has, which is a really big+

And if you mostly play single player, well than you can test in multiplayer which races you like and buy selectively what you want.

Did you enjoy Total War Warhammer I ? if yes this is for you, if not probably not. If you didn't play 1, maybe check out that before since its cheaper.

I played through the entire thing, and let me tell you it's not really good. Sure the first couple of fights are cool but after a while it gets repetetive and boring. There are certain combination of spell which make you nearly invincible. Which is probably a good point because if you visit a new location you can be 90% sure there will be a fight. It's not as much a roll playing game as a fighting simulator with fancy spells.
The worst part is that the entire thing is just so freaking linear, and oh boy is the story predictable.
It's kinda fun but certainly not for 40€. at the moment of writing you can get it from humblebundle for around 6€ which is more appropriate.

So my review will probably end up somewhere and no one will ever read it but here I go nevertheless.

I played this game when it came or some time after it was in a gaming magazine as an extra. It's not that easy as a kid but if you actually know what you are doing it's not that hard. The story isn't the best but it's not that bad either.

There are 6 races, with 5 of them you can trade and build space stations in their systems. The beginning can be a bit slow but as soon as you have yor own station, which you can get after about an hour if you sell the shield you get, it gets quite easy. There are some stations which are just flat out better than others but you can either figure that out yourself or just google it. If you want to explore a bit you can, just fly wherever you want, leave some money in you stations and some transporters and when you come back you will have more money then you left.

Some tips you should listen to:
get the S.E.T.A upgrade it makes the game much more enjoyable.
and get the docking computer from the paranids.

if you have questions just leave them here i'll respond to them.
