Simple Game Simple Review

Pros:
  • Very simple and satisfying. Not dozens of building blocks but one for all purposes
  • Charming Graphics
  • Simple UI has pretty much everything you need but too much more

Cons:
  • The clipboard system is kinda weird. I did rather have a simple save and load 2 button system
  • Grid is limited (for performance reasons)

Things I would like to see in the future:
  1. Little humans walking around your town to make it more alive

  2. Day and night cycle with city lights that respond to the time of day.

  3. A mobile port! I would love to see this on the play store. its simplicity would fit the handheld market very well.

  4. This might be a hard-to-pull-off request but a way to have it set as a live background with interactive camera or camera that rotates by itself. This will give your creations an extra purpose. There is no real reward for building something which is very important in any video game.

Overall: 9/10
Its missing some things to improve it but the core is really solid especially for early access
