Oh ♥♥♥♥, son, it's Hitman: Contracts!

The third game in the Hitman series, and the last to be released on Steam (because licensing issues), Hitman Contracts takes place between two missions of Blood Money, the next game in the series.

It doesn't really introduce anything new, but rather builds on what was already there in Codename 47 and Silent Assassin; the controls have been improved, the learning curve is more gentle, and there are a LOT more ways to navigate the levels and dispose of your targets (there are always at least three different ways to kill them).

It focuses more on stealth, meaning run'n'gun, while an absolute blast for a change of pace in Codename 47 and Silent Assassin, is not longer a "viable option"; you can still definitely DO it, but it's harder to do because the enemies act smarter and together to take you down instead of rushing head-first into a stream of bullets.

Four levels from Codename 47 are remade in this game, something I personally like as I found Codename 47 the weaker game in the series, but the rest of the levels are new to this game.

Bottom line is, if you like the Hitman games, this is definitely a good game to own, especially for the price you're paying.

Get a good look at how guns operate, collect audio tapes with weird messages, and shoot sentry guns and hoverbots before they end you. There are a lot of controls for something that seems as simple as "point and shoot", but this game shows that operating a gun properly is anything but.

Ever since it was released in 2000, this is a game that has stuck with people. Great gameplay coupled with a good story and held together with great game mechanics ensured that this game would not be forgotten soon. The ability for the player to make choices that feel like they actually have an impact on the game world adds to the immersion, and after completing it you might find yourself compelled to play it again to make different choices.

Rating: I WANTED ORANGE/10

Build spacecraft. Crash spacecraft. Improve spacecraft design. Get spacecraft into heliocentric orbit with no fuel left. Rinse and repeat.

You owe it to yourself to get out of here, stalker. Playing it like a real man on Master difficulty means you die a lot, but such is life in the Zone.

Do you like looting ♥♥♥♥? Hell yes, you do!
Do you like running around and jumping like you're on the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ moon, and taking no fall damage whatsoever? If you don't, too bad, because you do now!

Get this game. It's worth it for Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage alone (which is DLC, sadly, but well worth the few bucks it costs).

EXPLOOOOSIOOOON NOISES!

Rating: I'LL PUT MY PAIN INTO YOUR SOUL/10

FPS platforming done right. Reminiscent of Portal, but with its own take on things. Gameplay and game mechanics are pretty good, and fairly easy to get into while still offering a challenge.

Also, Cthulhu mythos all up in this ♥♥♥♥♥. You know you love you some Cthulhu in your games.
