1). First Impressions:
I've only just started playing this game and my oppinions might change, but my experience thus far was horrible. Out of the four "classes" that i had to choose from I found nothing that could fit my play style. The closest was Frag a character with a LMG a revolver and grenades. I quickly realizes that his primary was incredibly weak, and his altogether slowness and large hitbox made him a big target. Players who had been playing longer already had the sniper class, and I was a sitting duck. It took two chest shots to kill my character, with a sniper firing one shot every second or so. I was boned the second I joined the game by the terrible balance. I could return fire, but even scoped my LMG had no acuracy and the few shots that hit had little effect even on the unarmored sniper. The few kills I got were from behind or the flank when someone unwittling ran by me. Altogether the beta has serious balance issues that prevent me from enjoying the game. That being said the game felt in all other ways well polished and I hope that it will be more playable in the future.

2). Update 1
I've played a lot more and have come to find a few more issues as well as some of the things that really stick this game out. The first issue is also one of the games best elements, the required cooperation. Too many games have passed where I'm the only one with a mic and none of my allies seem to want to play the objectives. With no communication going on at all people are playing this game like its Call of Duty, simply running around and shooting enemies when the objective is wide open. This also translates into team comp, with a team made up only of Fraggs (Heavy weapons) and Skyhammer (Assault), there is little chance of winning. I hope when more characters are added to limit a team to 2 per character/role or something. As for the more easily controled things like map design the devs are awesome. I have found that there are always three or four ways to get to any given place. Many of these less used passages really help you to flank around and plan suprise attacks. I also enjoy the scattered MG nests around the map that premote use of cover and tactical advances. On some maps they do get to be a little too good for the defense who can plop a man on one and prevent enemy advance (train station map objective 2). The balance as I keep playing does seem to get worse and worse. The sniper has an smg secondary, and the shotguns are too high dammage, two or three shotting at mid to close range. Both of these facts are not made better by massive move speed on the characters weilding them. Until this "competative" game is better balanced I need to thumbs down it, even if it hurts to do so.

3). Update 2
A few things devs might want to think about in future betas. The beta only allows me to play the objectives game mode, however all my daily missions require me to play stopwtach. Its too late to fix that but it really does annoy me. Also you should probably respawn with full equipment, it really sucks that the devs will throw you back in the game with no grenades to fight the spawn campers. while spawn camping is rare, it has happened a few times and there isn't much you can do against a firing squad lined up for head shots. One last feature that would be nice is a payday style spotting system so you can better communicate with non-mic players. The game really has character, but like i've said it will need some work to be truly competitive.
