This is a really fun sandbox game. I feel like it also has some great, under-used, roleplay potential for groups. They also just keep pumping out update after update. For a five year old game, they're still giving us nice quality of life additions, and even the DLC i have no complains about.

It wouldn't be wildcard without a delayed launch.

Ark: Survival Ascended offers improved graphics and mechanics, but it struggles with technical issues and bugs that hamper the experience. While the remaster shows potential, performance problems and lack of polish make it frustrating for players, especially at its high price. It feels like a missed opportunity for a smoother and more refined overhaul of a beloved game.

The pixel art style is charming and quirky, perfectly fitting the fun tone of the game. While not groundbreaking, it does enough to create a cozy and lighthearted atmosphere.

{ Gameplay }

☐ Just don't

The physics-based co-op gameplay is the highlight. It's challenging and engaging, but requires great communication and timing with your partner. It can be frustrating but satisfying once you get the hang of it.

{ Audio }
☐ Eargasm
☐ Very good
☐ Good
☑ Not too bad

The audio complements the game without being too memorable. The sound effects are cute, and the background music fits the relaxed and playful vibe of the game.

{ Audience }
☐ Kids
☑ Teens
☑ Adults
☐ Grandma

With its challenging platforming mechanics, Bread & Fred is suited for teens and adults who enjoy a good co-op challenge. It may be too difficult for younger kids, but it’s a blast for patient players.

{ PC Requirements }
☐ Check if you can run paint
☐ Potato
☑ Decent
☐ Fast
☐ Rich boi
☐ Ask NASA if they have a spare computer

It doesn’t require a high-end PC, and most modern systems should be able to run it smoothly. The game is well-optimized, making it accessible for a broad range of players.

{ Difficulty }
☐ Just press 'W'
☐ Easy
☑ Easy to learn / Hard to master
☐ Significant brain usage
☐ Difficult
☐ Dark Souls

The controls are easy to pick up, but mastering the coordination and timing needed to succeed is where the challenge comes in. Prepare for a lot of trial and error!

{ Grind }
☐ Nothing to grind
☐ Only if u care about leaderboards/ranks
☐ Isn't necessary to progress
☐ Average grind level
☐ Too much grind
☑ You'll need a second life for grinding

The constant retries as you and your partner try to perfect your jumps can feel grindy, but it’s part of the fun. Be prepared for a lot of repetition!

{ Story }
☐ No Story
☑ Some lore
☐ Average
☐ Good
☐ Lovely
☐ It'll replace your life

There’s some light lore, but the story is not a central element. The game is more focused on gameplay than any deep narrative.

{ Game Time }
☐ Long enough for a cup of coffee
☐ Short
☐ Average
☐ Long
☑ To infinity and beyond

The length of the game really depends on your skill and patience. The more you fail (and you will fail), the longer the game becomes. It can keep you engaged for hours if you love the challenge.

{ Price }
☐ It’s free!
☐ Worth the price
☑ If it's on sale
☐ If u have some spare money left
☐ Not recommended
☐ You could also just burn your money

At $15, the game offers decent value, especially if you love co-op challenges. However, for players who are easily frustrated, it might be best to wait for a sale to pick it up.

{ Bugs }
☐ Never heard of
☑ Minor bugs
☐ Can get annoying
☐ ARK: Survival Evolved
☐ The game itself is a big terrarium for bugs

There are some minor bugs, but nothing that breaks the game. Occasionally, the physics can act a bit wonky, but it’s usually more funny than frustrating.

Final Verdict:
Bread & Fred is a fun and challenging co-op experience with charming visuals and satisfying gameplay. While it can be frustrating at times, especially due to its difficulty, it’s a great game for players who enjoy working together to overcome tough platforming challenges. At $15, it’s worth considering, especially if you can get it on sale.

It's just a simple little battle simulator, great for random spurts of boredom when you want some chaos and fighting but you don't want to do a whole game of CK3.

Love the new decor bits, and the trains look awesome. Excited to see what comes in the next two installments.

It's a nice simple game. Got it to play on my laptop when I'm away from home and it's perfect for that. Not too resource intensive, not too repetitive, perfect on the go game.
