Based on reviews I was expecting to take a risk on this game on sale, play it for 10-20 minutes, then request a refund.

I couldn't have been more wrong. My first session playing this game was over 4 hours long, got 3 cars and can't wait to play more. The handling is more on the arcade side for sure but that makes it a chill racing game to me. I just use an xbox controller, no sim setup or wheel here.

Will be racking up lots of hours in this one. Graphix are gr8. Glad I went with the deluxe edition right off the bat.

fwiw, best burnout smoke of any racing game I play. This games gonna be fun to dial in drifting >:)

Dude have you tried the 66' Mustang for drifting? It's the most intuitive car for drifting I've used so far. I can hold long, sustained drifts simply balancing throttle input and I'm on a Dualshock4. Granted, I'm sure there are easier cars perhaps in later classes but I'm early in the career so I haven't had the chance to try many cars yet but the Mustang is very fun. Especially after a weight reduction and lowering it a bit.
