Early Access Review
This was some of the most fun I had in a shooter similar to the Battlefield games, but now, I can't honestly give it a good review. For starters, the sniper nerf. Now, I'm a sniper main, but will change to the other classes should things go south for me, depending on the situation. First, it was just the scope glint that would give us away, which was fine. Now they gave it to medium scopes and added vapor trails, easily giving sniper's positions away, which goes against what a sniper does: Being taking enemies out from afar while remaining hidden. The scope glint was the only way to counter a sniper being hidden, but now they've nerfed the class to the ground.

Guns feel alright, given some work better than others, but I can't say that it seems fair how SMGs have been seen to outperform ARs or even LMGs, despite LMGs being slower to use, but should have more stopping power. Damage could use a rework if you ask me. It's annoyed me so much when I'm wearing full Exo armor and someone mows me down so quickly and easily with an SMG in what feels like only 3-4 shots against strong armor, but I put 5-6+ AR bodyshots, for example, in someone, yet they're still alive. The gunplay is good, but it's the sweats who run around using SMGs like headless chickens as if this is some sort of meta, and that's ruined the game for many others, myself included, even when I've got many kills with ARs.

The armor can be a bit funky at times, especially when I'm the one delivering the hits, but that depends on the guns. You'd think ARs and LMGs (not including snipers) would deliver alot of damage to armor, but sometimes, that hasn't been the case, much. I think it just needs a rework because there are times I score body shots and headshots with ARs, and the guy is still alive somehow.

Hit detection is fine, but in a sniper fight, there have been times I saw bullets go 5' to the left, right or above my head, and the game still counts it as a hit, given I have good connection. Honestly, it confuses me on how those counted as hits in the first place when my POV shows they were nowhere near me.

The maps are fine, but it all depends on your playstyle. Me specifically, I don't mind a sniping or close quarters map, but some of them just feel like someone went all out on some of the close quarters maps as if clueless on what good level design is and it's annoying to be pinned by bullets or grenade spam so much, leaving very little room to make a retreat/escape.

I could go on, but I think I've mentioned enough about my 100+ hours of experience. I can't really recommend this game, given the way the guns and armor work, how SMGs seem to be some of the top weapons to use, given how broken they are (the creator even favors the SMG loadout) the sniper nerf that ruined sniping in this game and above all, the sweaty and toxic players in the community. Plus, this game has been dying pretty fast within the past month or so, and who knows how long this game will last for. Either way, I don't recommend this game in it's current state

Gonna make this short and simple. I pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition back in October. Was very hyped for this game, given it'd be like another Dead Space game, aside from the remake. When I played it for the first time, I was met with disappointment. Horrible optimization rendered this game unplayable for me, even on the lowest settings. Frame rate drops below 30 FPS at random, stuttering when loading new areas, rendering issues and the game crashing, even when loading a new checkpoint. I was so disappointed when this was the final product I was so hyped for. Feels like a spit in the face mixed with a kick to the balls. Cannot recommend this game and I don't think I will re-install it. Never pre-ordering a game again. Thanks alot, KRAFTON.

The animatronic characters here do get a bit "quirky" at night.

This game should've still been a massive hit in the Battle Royale genre like it was upon release. Now it's only become a shell of what it once was. Over $370 million made within the first few months and now all the developers can do is either come up with shady business practices and even SUE Epic Games, the guys who made the Unreal Engine 4 to play PUBG on and Fortnite, just for more money. For these guys to think that suing EG just because Fortnite took 1st place in Battle Royale is a very outrageous thing to do. Since this game has gone down the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ because of the lack of bug fix updates, dealing with the hacker problems and not working on anything to make the game fun and fair for new and returning players is just not doing it any good. Even when there's an update, it's mostly something that isn't what the community expects, including the new weapon attachments nobody asked for.

Another problem is how the mobile version of this game is doing so much better because it has what this game doesn't, a progression/ranking system, free loot boxes for cosmetics paid with in game battlepoints, a shooting range to help players get used to using the guns and it overall has more content. I stopped playing the PC version and stuck to mobile because of these reasons. If you have a mobile version of your game and that version is doing better than your PC/Console version, then there's a problem with your game in general, not saying that the mobile version has to suck now.

Just because this game lost the spotlight as the best Battle Royale game doesn't mean a lawsuit has to be done against Fortnite. I'm not a fan of Fortnite as I prefer PUBG, but to get Fortnite and Epic Games out of the competition by suing them for "copying" PUBG is so moronic and won't get this games player base back, nor will it bring any new players with it. Something has to be done. I was so tired of going into matches from a game with no progression/ranking system of me vs 99 other random players, who are very much likely so much better than me because they've put countless hours into this game, that I get killed so easily, and so early after landing, that it really infuriates me to stop playing. I can't understand a weapon entirely in terms of recoil and weapon control if I only have one chance to use it and have a huge likelyhood to die, regardless of who I'm up against. I've never won ONE game in my entirety of playing this, unlike others who've said they've won numerous. How is a game fun if you can't win one game because of RNG ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for loot and how you're against people that are most likely better than you, let alone all these hackers that every game has one of? That's why I stopped playing this on PC and stuck to the mobile version.

Something has to be done about this, because since Bluehole is suing Epic Games, they've now become hypocrites themselves; Fortnite added a Royale pass for an 8 week season where players pay $8 to complete missions and objectives to get rewards like cosmetics and V-bucks. If players made it to the top before the season ends, they could buy the next season with the V-bucks they've earned so it would save them real money for the next season, without spending a dime. PUBG did this some time after Fortnite made theirs, only PUBG's lasts 4 weeks for $10 and players don't get much ♥♥♥♥. Kinda hypocritical and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ if you're copying the idea the one's you're suing is also adding this kind of season pass.

To finish this off, if I were to tell the guys at Bluehole on how to make this game better, I would tell them to drop the lawsuit and tell Epic Games that they're sorry for suing, use the assloads of money you earned to work on updates, make the lootboxes free with no paid key ♥♥♥♥, listen to your ♥♥♥♥♥♥ community and what issues they have, get rid of these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hackers, not call your community racist because they want to keep these Chinese players who have been caught by replays using hacks because we want them out of NA servers, add a ranking/progression system to make things fair, a practice map for guns and ♥♥♥♥ and finally, FIX THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GAME ENTIRELY! I would love to go back to this game on PC, but I can't in it's current state, and probably won't be playing it until some serious changes are made. Until then, I'm sticking to the mobile version. Bluehole, get your ♥♥♥♥ together and drop this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lawsuit. You're embarassing yourselves and PUBG.
