86 Hours in review. Conclusion : Good
===============================================
Possibly one of the most chillest Survival game ive ever played and if i were to rank it would be next to Minecraft.

You'll spend most of your time in the PvE (Hagga Basin) Map that contains only pockets of PvP (only certain PoI has PvP turned on) so depending on your server you'll rarely face campers *cough oil rig*. Its also a persistent instance so no resets occur so you only need to keep watch of Base Uptime. Downside is most convenient base zones is conquered by the early birds so RIP effiency if you just started in a Med-High pop server.

There is a PvP only map called Deep Desert, where the bottom zone of the map is PvE similar to Hagga Bassin but after you venture forward from these zones its FFA PVP (yes theres friendly fire). In the DD contains all the endgame materials that you NEED if you want to be a spice cartel or achieve top efficiency. But this map always reset on Tuesday morning (weekly), so in a sense its an extraction game too :v.

Story - Its alright, its a Rewrite of the Duneverse : it makes sense and well told with an emphasis of attention to detail. Story takes place in an alternate timeline base off the first book. Jessica found out about Wellington Yueh's plot and caught him before he could act, instead of Paul she gave birth to a woman named Ariste, to be wed with Feyd Rautha as inteded by the Bene Gesserit. Some known chars from the books made an appearance as quest NPC's or cameos in the hubs.

Combat - Its great, stays true to Duneverse, simple but has layers of detail. Melee is king and the main way you'll be killing shielded enemies. Guns are great in PvE, lukewarm in PvP by design with some types have gimmicks that render shields slightly vulnerable so at most theyre just meant for Crowd Control and long range combat. Abilities are diverse, some are great some are meh and youre only limited to just 3 available at a time and ive seen some crazy combos.

Map and Basebuilding - By design, you will be moving your base constantly. The game has a ton of materials for you to farm but its not overwhelming unlike Ark. Building bases are straightforward and simple to understand with a sprinkle of Dune magic of course, with how Materials are spreadout throughout the map you'll be owning multiple bases.

Graphics - props to the dev, the game can be played on a Potato while still maintaining fidelity for those with a beefy pc.

Its a survival game so its forever cursed to be a bugfest.
I genuinely recommend this game if you want a chill survival game.

Finally a game for the elite of the elite soulsbourne torture enjoyer. Now in co-op.
Dont have friends dont buy this game.
Have friends but are filthy casuals dont buy this game.
This isnt Elden Ring 2 : Electric Bugaloo.
In short this game is a Glorified Official Souls Speedrun : The Game Simulator.

> Pros
- More classes
- Abilities !
- Multiplayer
- A fromsoft game.
- More bosses to fight.

> Cons
- Matchmaking systems are slow and no crossplay to boost queue time IF youre solo/duoing
- No voicechat for communication (tho doesnt require because this game is making anyone a toxic tar gum)
- Game is extremely fast paced and require deep and quick decision making throughout the entire run to avoid mistakes.
- A single mistake can ruin the entire run.
- Theres a solo option BUT the game doesnt adjust enemy numbers to fit a solo player, you deal more damage and have more hp but going 1 vs 3 isnt a fun time.
- Because its Multiplayer, you cant leave if a run goes horribly bad UNLESS youre with friends as the penalty only applies to Matchmaking.
- Its only fun when the game is going according to plan and you get good loot.
- You are punished for being inefficient.
- You didnt reach level 10 before Night 3? Tough luck buddy go back to the lobby or get one shot by the Nightlord you filthy casual.

Inb4 the crybaby trophy, if you find joy in this mid ahh game good for you the same cant be said for the rest.
Fromsoft's decision to venture into multiplayer will be their downfall.

*DO PLAY THIS GAME IN NG+ SAVE JUST LOOKUP NEXUS MODS. Most of my issues with this game stems from pre-NG+. Final Fantasy difficulty (unlocked in NG+) solved most of that issue.

- Overall rating 7/10 (insert ign meme here)
- But fr, this game only selling point is the "Cinematic Combat".

- Story wise, generic FF story light dark bla bla chosen one ultima bad. but hey they swear in dialogue's now.

- Melee combat : is horrendous, for a game that takes inspiration from DMC series the *Melee Combat* is as dull as a wet sponge literally.
- Abilities and Magic : are suprisingly amazing to compensate the wet sponge combat.
Tho as i say this, most of the issue with combat is fixed in NG+ for some god awful reason.

- Quest design, this is my main ick. Clear a line of main quest BOOM the game dumps you with a bajillion side quest ESPECIALLY near the end of the game. Most of them are LORE DUMPS than upgrades but you'll never know that until you clear the quests. Horrible game design, i have 0 fun with them and the rewards for most of them are literal PEBBLES for pennies. These sidequests can set you back by 1 hour per quest due to how most of the POI's are far from Faster Travel points + combat.

- Characters are great suprisingly although Jill is another typical damsel from any other FF games.

- Overall, a great homage to the old FF games, above average writing, great enemy designs, cinematic combat is amazing, melee and sidequests are horrible, abilities are chef's kiss.

Edit : DLC Review

Echoes of the Fallen : 4/10
- They just drop a fan favorite Boss, Omega Weapon. The soundtrack for his fight is Epic as hell but thats pretty much it. Just a boss dlc. Boss fight itself is fun to fight. But this update overall is meh.

Rising Tide : 7/10
- This update introduces a new region and a new Eikon to gain : Leviathan, the Lost. The story is aight, the Eikon abilities are aight, includes a Eikon Fight too. Side Quests for this DLC gives actual rewards instead of pebbles. Overall good DLC.

A message to Yoshi P. Save yourself the headache and just make a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ turn based. We love FF games because we like seeing magic skills being thrown. Learn something from COE33 would ya.

Rare French W. My boy Kanye would be proud.

Graphics 10/10 -
Beautiful. Absolute ART. THIS IS HOW U MAKE PHOTOREALISTIC GRAPHICS.
Performance 6/10 -
Rough around some areas. Recommend download performance mods.
Gameplay 7/10 -
Originally 5/10 because no combat feedback for dodging/parrying but then i just got used to it. Certainly not a game for the slow minded, my eyes were focused the entire combat duration. Spoiler : Maelle is busted.
Music/Sound 11/10 - Beautifully orchastrated.
Story 11/10 - Amazing, well writen and the comedy is on point. The characters are conversation all felt natural and touching with such deep writing.

Choose the Maelle Ending first, then load back previous saves and Watch Verso ending. Srsly pissed off that i started with Verso first and end up seeing Maelle Ending last, she end up being a hypocrite and be no different than Maman.

Early Access Review
Pros
- Actual SIMS competitor.
- Smaller file size
- Good graphics
- Great modding support

CONS
- Graphics are unstable af.
- Lacking alot of building features that was conveniant in SIMS
- Lack of activity for ZOI to do.

I bought this game because i aint wasting 1k$ in DLC's like the SIMS just to have the optimal experience and have a 300gb game sitting on my drive. Its still early access and lets just wait for the devs to cook.

EDIT After reaching endgame.

Pros:
- Good gunplay
- Good movement
- Boobas and Buttocks
- Beautiful map design
- Grind gets easy in the later stages of the game.

Cons :
- It gets stale just like any other looter shooter.
- Performance still spikes in certain missions.
- Devs still cant decide the identity of this game.
- Elemental damage doesnt feel impactful unlike games of the same genre (Warframe,Destiny2)

Rant:
Personally i find the gameplay loop in endgame quite alright if compared to Warframe and Destiny 2. If i were to rank the gameplay i would put it in between Warframe and Destiny simply because the grind is easier than the former. Farming for Kuiper gets easier in Hard Mode (if you manage to full kit Bunny of course) and getting potatos and formas is much easier than Warframe.

=================================
Pros:
- Good gunplay
- Good movement
- Boobas and Buttocks
- Beautiful map design

Cons :
- Quite the unoptimized game. random crashes time to time. Doubt anyone running the game with 6 year old hardware will ever find playing this game at <60fps enjoyable.
- Enemies move too fast at times so good luck trying to make that shot count. (to my knowledge this isnt a problem with aim asist)
- Too many level 10 mods. Spending Kuiper is an ultimatum. (currency to level mods up)
- Identity crisis. The game cant make up its mind to either be a cover shooter or a power fantasy.

Summary:
Its aight. Not great but not good IMO so take this review with a grain of salt.
