I can't wait to play the full game! ive been following this since the first ever demo that dropped :)
Keep it up, this game is gonna be fantastic!

Played it on a diffrent platform, but i bought it here again because this game definently deserves double the price.
This game is by far one of the best games ever made, period. Something like this with its beautiful visuals and fantastic soundtrack mixed in with a philosophical and emotional story with 26 endings is just overwhelming and deserves game of the century. If you are on the verge of getting this PLEASE BUY IT, even for £60 this game is sooo worth it. The PC port is now great and i beat the whole game with barely any bugs and 0 crashes.My only issue is that it's quite hard to read the map and travel accordingly. Overall rating is a 10/10. A masterpiece that people sadly won't play.

The most overhyped game in history. Don't buy this unless you like to waste money or your so bored you enjoy finding the same thing copy and pasted all over the map.

Wouldn't recommend the DLC, But i highly incentivize you to buy the base game.

This is my opinion of course:
The DLC is very bland, the only positives is that there are lots of new items and a new survival wavebased gamemode. The 2 characters involved in this DLC are just... bad.
The sniper is by far the most boring survivor in this game, this might be due to my playstyle of not preferring long range combat, but there was just nothing fun about him compared to the base characters.
And the void fiend is just dissapointing. He was the reason i bought this and after playing him for an hour I dont want to play him anymore. I thought i could switch forms at will whenever the meter got full but its all just automatic, and i end up just spamming the R key to use the meter until i actually need to use the ultimate form which is when i let it go to max. I'm not sure why everything is automatic on this character but im not a big fan of it.
Corruption form is pretty bad as well, The laser has the same range as the loader (basically melee range) and the Mouse 2 has infinite splash and kills you if you even press the button.

TL:DR Just buy the base game and ignore the DLC.

I cant really recommend this game, its just a cluster of broken enemies. First level a jellyfish that has a map sized explosion sure you get lots of time to take cover but 90% of the time the teleporter is out in the open so yeah take 90% health for rng telporter location. Then i go to another level and theres a huge yellow enemy that also has the same map wide hitbox except his one lasts forever, does huge tick damage over time, and cover does nothing. Theres also 200 flying ranged laser acuracy enemies on level 1 that do around 20% of your health for each hit, and cover doesnt do much since they fly around to face you, the enemies in this game are just poorly designed with spam on level 1 to entice you to pick someone else or just quit.

I'm sorry but i just dont find stuff like this fun anymore and i dont know what they were thinking with these enemy designs. if they are gonna add more projectile and huge map explosions, at least make the player more tanky or give us more movement/evasiveness. All i get is dumb banner items and the healing fungus.

The game is perfectly fine, no bugs, combat is very fun, absolutely love the music, and the pixel art is great. The dialogue however doesn't rope me in at all and i just end up skipping through it until they talk about something interesting which is only rarely. Also i HATE the characters, not because they are ♥♥♥ or whatever, i just hate them because they aren't relatable, appealing, or interesting whatsoever, they are just generic ♥♥♥ guys/girls sitting in a car all game. ( this is the main reason i didn't play more than an hour, the characters are absolutely trash, sorry )

How did this even win an award? The enemies are all the same and they have the most annoying gimmicks applied to them. For example some enemies spam bombs across the whole map,others dash everywhere infinitely while dealing damage, and others have a huge shield and become invincible. for a game centered around you losing to get stronger, it does it in the most annoying way possible. On top of this the game gives them all armor so double the health and they can't be stunned, pushed or anything just huge damage sponges that spam back, good stuff.

The combat is so shallow and its just hit, dash, hit, repeat while the weapons change the animation and range at most. doesn't even change the playstyle or flow or anything. its baffling how this even won an award when there are other amazing indie games out there doing extra and not even getting attention. Fix these dumb enemies its not fun.

Cool game

Game is good but i'm not gonna spend 25 pounds for extra songs, its quite hefty for just new levels.

Great game. 8/10

Positives: The mechanics work perfectly and i have had no problems with it, the level looks great and is fun to navigate through. The music fits the game, The voice acting is believable, the boss fight is engaging and fun.

Negatives:
The enemies are fine but they are really repetitive, especially when you just fight waves and waves of the same 2 enemies again. The story is all over the place, i don't really know whats going on.

Improvements: Please make the cooler part in the boss fight last longer, it literally gives me 4 seconds and that's not enough to walk around the whole circle and shoot the coolers. Make the health bar in the boss fight look better rather than the default. Add graphic settings and difficulty settings. Make the game longer if possible. Add new enemies. Add new weapons, new abilities.

Other than that, this game is great. Great job and keep it up in your future titles! ;)
