I swallowed hard, feeling the weight of Dagon's presence bearing down upon me. "I meant no disrespect," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. "I just... wanted to experience the beauty of the sea."
Dagon's gaze softened ever so slightly, though its imposing form remained unchanged. "The sea is both beautiful and treacherous," it said, its voice a low rumble that seemed to reverberate within my very bones. "Respect its power, and it may yet grant you safe passage."
With a graceful motion, Dagon submerged back into the depths, leaving me standing alone on the beach once more. As I watched the waves ebb and flow, I couldn't help but feel a newfound sense of reverence for the vast and mysterious world that lay just beyond the shoreline.
Startled, I turned to see the massive form of Dagon emerging from the depths, towering over me like a primordial force of nature. My heart skipped a beat as I gazed up at the ancient sea deity, its presence commanding both awe and fear.
"Who disturbs the tranquility of my domain?" Dagon's voice boomed, echoing across the shoreline.
I stumbled backward, my words catching in my throat as I struggled to find my voice. "I-I'm sorry," I managed to stammer out, my heart racing. "I didn't mean to intrude. I was just... taking a walk."
Yo, Kazzy-boy! How's it hangin', old pal? Still walkin' the streets with that stoic expression, eh? Can't say I'm surprised. You and me, we're like two sides of the same coin, always attractin' trouble wherever we go.
Listen up, Kiryu-chan, 'cause I ain't gonna say this twice. I've been itchin' for a brawl, a real knock-down-drag-out fight that'll get the blood pumpin'! And who better to square off against than you, my ol' rival?
So, spill the beans, Kiryu-chan. What's the word on the street? Any juicy gossip or trouble brewin' that needs the Majima touch? You know I'm always ready to dive headfirst into the chaos, especially if it means crossin' paths with you again!
But things change, huh? Life has a funny way of throwing curveballs at you. Look at us now, on opposite sides of the fence. You, the Dragon of Dojima, the hero of Kamurocho. And me, well, let's just say I've taken a different path.
But hey, no hard feelings, right? We both know how the game goes. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. And sometimes... you end up on different sides of a conflict you never saw coming.
I gotta hand it to you, though, Kiryu. You've got guts. You never back down from a fight, never lose sight of what's right. Even when everything's falling apart around you, you keep pushing forward. I respect that.
