Sh2 is a game that is VERY important to me and honestly changed my life. So when i heard it was being remade i was instantly scared, especially by a team like Bloober Team which had a very sketchy record of making games similar to Silent Hill but not understanding what made those games great. But ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I gotta give them an apology because this is one of the best remakes OF ALL TIME, up there with games like the RE Remakes. The gameplay is a perfect mix of modern & the jank that made the originals combat special. The art direction is immaculate and the new puzzles are fantastic. But i do have issues.. The game had a very strange graphical bug where black dots would be ALL OVER the characters hair and really bad screen tearing. But I think it was an issue with my pc cause it is quite old and not the game so I give it an excuse. What i cant excuse is the removal of a certain scene with headphones (not spoiling) it was such a fantastic scene and removing it and SHOWING the headphones was really annoying.. The fact that is the only main issue I have as someone who beat the original 8 TIMES should tell you how fantastic this game really is..
