Immediately after release the game was not as enjoyable and borderline unplayable. With cashes to desktop, Networking Issues, And missing perks, weapon and item forge(improvements).

December 2024 after several updates, added content mentioned above, and polishing. Combat is smooth and enjoyable, Level 4 is a challenge and not nearly impossible. With level 5 actually feeling like a suicide mission.

Fat Shark knocked it out of the park with Vermintide 2 and they have finally brought a much needed FPS to the universe that is Warhammer 40K.

I joke, I have enjoyed the wild ride of the changes from the beginning, the changes in the art style, the changes in the NPC's, the changes in the items and features, and the sad removal of many many things that I found to be cool and different.

Everything from the removal of the giant bee's, to the removal of the steel fire mans axe, and the disappointing removal of the cheerleader and football player.

However I have enjoyed the game and have played quite a bit of each and every version. I highly recommend 7 Days To Die as a small group of 3 or 4 players.

Despite the Epic Exclusivity in the beginning. I have significantly enjoyed this game. It scratches that OCD itch and then also triggers it at the same time.

Network and Dedicated Server Issues were the bane of my experience for a long time.
Other than that the game is well polished and felt very full featured before the final release.

Can't wait for the Icing on the cake in the coming years.

2nd Update: SONY is continuing to prevent the sale of HD2 in over 170 countries that do not have access to PSN.

Halfway is not acceptable.

Update: The Publisher Sony has backtracked and now will not require a PSN Account for PC players. It has not been clear if the game has returned for sale in the 177 nations that PSN is not available in.

Just another fat headed publisher thinking that they can do what they want. It is beginning to not surprise me anymore what happens in the Video Game Industry.

Along with their Operator Shade they are joined once again by Joy and Pearl from crime.net on a rampage of revenge against a massive organized crime ring In New York City.

A Cooperative Dream. Where if you fail to work together you going to be cuffed and in custody. The Police and FBI have a few new tricks up their sleeves. From grenadiers with toxic gas and sabotage squads that set traps or try to disrupt hacking. With endless assaults and devastating Shield party's they are out for blood.

And the Cops will wreck your day given the chance. Use cover, aim for the head and stick together. Cover the man or woman next to you. And you might escape with a fat "Payday".

TLDR: This review can change in the future. Currently the game is in an unacceptable state.

In a five hour period played approximately an hour and twenty minutes. The rest of the five hours was spent attempting to match make and this was with four friends trying simultaneously.

One of the Gems in video games...


I was not able to properly play V Rising. And it is not because my computer could not run it. It was because of the way that the game was introduced to Me. And My Friends that I daily play cooperative games with. One of these Friends found out about, purchased, and played this game probably about halfway to completion. With another Friend being 60% to 70% through the game. It was not the best experience I could have had for V Rising and I assume other friends that are in My Group as well would say in general have had the same experience.

I have a soft spot for isometric style gameplay. Given my experience with some PlayStation titles. Not necessarily twin stick shooters but if you go back to the Godden years of Real Time Strategy, Westwood Studios Command And Conquer Series.

Though V Rising isn't an isometric video game it has the feeling that hits close to home.

Single Player or Cooperative the game works seamlessly drop-in drop-out. Hunting enemies to rebuild your name, your legacy, your empire.
Utilize Powerful Magic, Devastating Weapons, Vials of Blood and Potions to eradicate enemies from your newly claimed domain.

Start a campaign to rebuild your domain locally or through a dedicated server. Where you can fight Solo or with Friends.
An expertly crafted game with balance for a player of any level of experience.

Personal recommendation is to play with friends. But secondhand word tells me it is perfectly playable by yourself.

A surprising Gem. Enjoyable in both solo and cooperative. Norse Mythology and Lore drives the story. Fight Lanky Gray-Dwarfs during foggy nights in the Black Forest. Spar off with rattling skeleton warriors in dark musty dungeons, searching for progression loot. And dodge mighty blows from giant blue Trolls towering above you. Build your little village from sticks and thatch to mighty castle walls. Explore the tall seas in a dingy raft or built a mighty Langskip to expand your empire.

Valheim is a surprisingly excellent Nordic viking adventure. At the time of writing, I highly recommend it to everyone who wants a long slow burn of a game. Again it is enjoyable in both solo or cooperative. For $20USD you cannot go wrong.

Excellent ghost hunting game that requires cooperation as a team. with Windows 10 voice detection functionality and proximity voice communication. The game is nearly as real as it gets with exception that ghost don't kill you in real life. If you have 3 friends to play with this is a cheap game for tens if not hundreds of hours of fun.

The right Mix of Thriller, FPS and Cooperative Teamwork. Working together to terminate enemy creatures. Find the objective(s) and get out alive. Without voice chat, (i'd recommend a third party chat like Discord) it become extremely difficult to communicate and work together.

Fight to survive and Get The Frak Out

Best if played with your friends that communicate effectively. Lower difficulties can be played solo with or without bots. I recommend to also to not just level one character at a time, since if you do choose to play with pubs you might end up unlucky and forced to choose a character that you have not setup or even leveled. Excellent game that does not require the first game to own since you can play the first game in what the game calls "Illusions".
