I hit you at that pallet because my hitbox hit you before the actual pallet drop happened. It doesn't have to be ping or hitboxes when the actual press of the spacebar and the pallet dropping needs to be communicated to your PC and then also sent to the screen. The difference between getting a stun and hit like that by me is milliseconds.
