This is an AMAZING game for its time. Legendary status. Maybe game of the decade.
Being over 20 years old, the movement, combat and graphics are lacking, however. Definitely hurt the immersion, but the depth of the story and the RPG aspect is more than enough to motivate you to keep going.

Enjoy the story and feel the PASSION that was put into this!

At this point your laptops you use for school can probably run this game. If you enjoy playing Among Us, Minecraft etc. etc. with your friends you can try this too, it will definitely spice things up!

I bought it in the hopes that it would teach me a bit about medicine/diagnostics as Plague Inc. taught me about pathogens/epidemiology, but this game has a severe lack in complexity/variety and the medical accuracy/realism is 50% at best.
The only gameplay, btw, is holding down left mouse button to collect points that you use for testing and treating diseases.

How to turn this into a great game:
- Add some more mechanics. Put some creativity into your game.
- Fix things that don't make sense, like being able to make your patient an athlete while their heart is bleeding on the screen
- Change the days passed to hours passed
- More possible diseases + make the disease be random every time. If you fail a level now you already know what the right disease is.
- More realism - how can my tests for a genetic disease be negative then positive? (you didn't mention false positives). A doctor should ideally be in charge for game design here, it doesn't seem you had one on board, hence why it's a dead game.

2/10 (only because im interested in medicine)

Even playing with the "Unofficial mod" the game felt like it was 2/3 finished. Lots of loose ends in the story and very unpolished. Great soundtrack, but there's this thing called youtube where you can listen to it without the hassle that is playing through this game.

Used to be a lot of fun but you should probably try it if you haven't. One of the best free to play games ever.
