There's a game here I'd like to review positively, if I could actually play it - one save softlocked on entering the church for the first time (which is required to progress) & I had to start a new one. The new save softlocked 2 minutes in. Looking into reports, it seems like these aren't exactly rare occurrences - and the only solutions I see are starting a new save.

This mod is a masterpiece. It is a series of all new, well designed characters including new relics, events, and bosses. The quality of this new content is on-par with the base game, which is a rarity in content mods - particularly with this large of a scope.

Roguelite pseudo-arpg, with a heavy approach towards keeping mechanics lean & unique rather than bloating with reskinned spells/classes.

Factorio, you make factories. Really though, the amazing part about factorio is that you CAN make things huge and inefficient and spaghettied together... OR you can rebuild your supply lines for the twelth time in one run when you realize that once again you're bottle necking supply lines due to inserter/supply belt transport limit, and there really are more efficient ways to deliver your material where it needs to go.

It's $3 dollars. But seriously though, it's a decently fun game with just enough variety that runs feel a bit different each time.

For a dollar I expected something very basic, but the Dev is highly responsive to update requests and the game works well.

This needed some QA before releasing it, yeesh. Some of the new enemies are unfun nightmares, curse of the maze can now teleport you directly into the boss room, item bloat is still an issue (adding 0.16 shot speed onto a bad item doesn't suddenly make it a good one), for some reason a lot of early basement-level enemies gained projectile speed, and so on.

There's a lot of cool stuff added! But unfortunately it follows the standard BoI problem of just adding things without thinking about whether or not it's a good idea, and each DLC just makes things worse.
