I've been enjoying this game a lot! I really like that features in the game can be turned on and off, such as food decay, illness, tool decay, ect. It makes it easier to make the game a more cozy game or more of a survivalish game. There's a lot to do like fishing, farming, mining, crafting, and cooking. Making friends isn't super hard either which is nice especially as people pass away and are replaced by their children. They don't really have specific likes from what I can tell.

Something I would like from the game is the option to automatically organize your inventory/chest if possible!

ouch, oof, my feelings, oof.

+Monster girls cute.
+I have 7 daughters now.
+Easy to get a hang of, and if you have trouble still, there's a guide book you can click on whenever.
+Multiple endings, but you have pretty good control on which ending you get. (meaning: you don't get screwed up and can't go back, unless you get a "bad end".)

-You kill the monster girls. :( or. well. not I guess. if you want to.
-Kinda short. I enjoyed it though, so, I guess I don't mind. It only took me about 7 hours to beat with some extra endings. I'm not a full completion kind of person, but I think if I wanted to get all the stuff it might take a few more hours only.
-Sometimes the things you do feel tedious.
-Would have liked to know about the villagers a bit more. A little was added with the DLC but, eh.

tips:
~If you don't like repetitive things, this game might not be for you.
~Make at least two save files. One for doing the true end, and one for doing the extra endings.
~The game warns you, but there are dark themes in this game, so if you don't think you can handle it, maybe it's not for you.

Hmmm I have mixed feelings about this game.
I'm happy to see a new version of Yume Nikki but it feels very... eh??
I'm happy to see old places that I care about shown in a different way, and I like hearing the music remixed.

I was excited to see the worlds and how the new game would show them, but most of them have been cut or made very small. There are only 5 effects, instead of 24. Two of them are new, so that is cool I guess. THERE'S NO BIKE??? NO BIKE!!!
Also now there's platforming and some puzzles which are okay?? I personally rather not deal with platforming and being chased/attacked because I was looking forward to wandering. There is not a lot of wandering, by the way. Most places have you on a set path.

I'm not so sure how I feel about it. I'm pretty ehhh. I guess I like it? Steam should have a Kinda Okay recommendation.

Yume Nikki is a game I spent a long time with as a kid, so it's important to me.
Feels like home.

Newcomers:
Goal: Collect the 24 effects. Use these effects to do different things in the dream world. Try different effects with different things. Remember the things you have seen, and if something changes, perhaps investigate it.
Watch out for people that have beaks (Toriningen) Do not stab them if they are not hostile, because they will be. You cannot kill them, you can only run.
Not everything that looks scary will hurt you. Try interacting with different things.

I accidently played this game for 14 hours yesterday, and I had only owned it for like a day. If you're in to these kind of games, it's easy to get lost in. This is my first Atelier game, it's fun.

I reccommend using a controler with this game if you're a stupid idiot like me, and don't know what you're doing with the keyboard.

Stuff to do:
Hit monsters, gather items, make items to hit the monsters with to get more items.
Go on a date with the girl from the cafe.
Befriend a talking book, she's your new roommate.
Talk to some barrels.

Yukari Yakumo I love you.

--

+Yukari is there
+The cat is there too
+THE TRAIN IS THERE
+New characters to choose from like Doremy, who can turn in to some sort of sheep robot. Nice. Tenshi also returns and she is incredibly small.
+You get to play with two characters at once, which is fun. I miss Imperishable Night.
+I have no idea what I'm doing because I never play fighting games but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ do I love Yukari Yakumo, also I wanted to support touhou games coming over to the west so I probably would have bought it anyways. I already have a version with the fan translation, but it's important to support the games now so we get more later. (s/o to my friend for actually gifting me the game at like 2am, nice.)

-Sakuya come home
-English patch come home (the official one)
-I want 200000 trading cards with Yukari on them, get it together ZUN

I'm not crying, I just have something in my eye.
It's tears.

A game where no one has to die.
Alternatively, EVERYONE CAN DIE.

Make friends, date a skeleton, make a best friend, talk about good and bad anime.

If you don't stop playing, you can probably finish one route on this game in 4-5 hours or so. There are threeroutes, Pacifist (Everyone Lives), Normal (You can't get the pacifist route without completing this one or Genocide), Genocide (KILL EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING.)

It's really fun, I highly suggest giving it a try!

Man, I'm a sucker for vanilla ♥♥♥♥. This stuff's got me feeling all warm inside. A cute story about Sachi Usui, a Cyclops girl and her first love, you, Mamoru.
A sweet story, with no choices or alternate endings, which is slightly unfortunate. I was hoping for maybe at least two endings for $10. Alas.
It does feature small cutscenes that are partially animated, which are a sort of creepy-cute sort of thing.
I'm having a good time with this game, but I feel like I won't play it again
7/10
