Another survival crafting game as wide as an ocean and deep as a puddle with a huge amount of hackers/cheaters and a developer team smirking and telling players they don't care what they think of the game or the issues they are having because they are following their 'vision'. What makes it even more comical is after the backlash from that now they are saying they will listen to their players.

Overall if you do not like Dune, basically any other survival game will probably scratch your itch. If you do like Dune, I think it has a good Dune setting and depending on how annoyed you get with worm jump scares and spams you can get a lot of hours out of it. If you do get annoyed and get the Ornithopter quickly to fly around, you will get little to no content out of it as most of the content is fetch quests over long distances so flying will neuter the game play for you.

The PvP is non existent, if you choose to go farm for PvE you are required to have storage since player inventory is so small, and if you have storage on your vehicles you cannot have rockets/missiles on your vehicle. So other players who have rockets and missiles will shoot you to death while you are defenseless.

The 'actual' PvP is your typical numbers game since most vehicles have the same health and a blind person could spam rockets at each other, most fights end in an even run 1v1 so nobody gets anything and even if you did get to loot your opponent before the worm comes and eats them, you can't carry anything, as mentioned before, so there was no point to fighting except to fight, and your vehicle is equally busted up. I won't comment on ground fighting, as the meta is running in circles and spamming abilities as soon as you have stamina and is more of a battle against the server and desync than actual skill due to permanent staggering because its 'realistic' you have to stagger someone for 5 seconds to one shot kill them with a sword through their shield and if your ability desyncs its time to run in circles until you can try it again. Also, once again, materials are extremely heavy and you receive nothing for killing anyone as they can't have anything on their person when they die because of their limited inventory as well.

Overall PvE gets like a 5/10 cause at least the map is big, vehicle PvP gets like a 3/10 and ground PvP doesn't even get rated. I couldn't tell you about the story, I have no interest in Dune.

About me: I have over 10 kills in PvP, been killed once for using storage instead of rockets on my helicopter, have made it to the end game materials and the deep desert, could have done it in half the time if I wasn't goofing off with friends. I played mostly solo when I did go out and do things, we just used a shared base that we all kept up on.

Warframe with boobs and butts but way clunkier and somehow worse animations and graphics despite the former being 13 years old. Not going to mention monetization because I have money and don't really care about that aspect of any game, but this game just feels bad to play.

P2W skins that change your hitbox just to begin with and it only gets worse from the few hours I've spent in there. Maybe I just needed to see more but between the horrible UI, bad movement and clunky feeling combat and hitscan spells, I wont be seeing more.

Its a cool game. The thrall mechanic is unique and cool, and don't listen to the negatives of it. You basically permanently get 3 people to choose to play as while your original anchor hangs around to take over once your conciousness gets blown out of the other 3 and the rest of the crew is just base biotches. Server are laggy and desyncish, not as bad as release Palworld but close. The PvE and PvP are both really stale metas but its EA, they will probably do something about having to run the same dungeons for tens of hours to make end game gear because the game doesn't play like an MMO. MMO's dont have durability and full loot loss and PvP that favors being a scumbag most of the time.

Its catchy and the basebuilding is not horrible, its pretty cookie cutter like the rest of the games on the market. The reason I can't recommend is that they mixed in combat with the game, much like other games on the market except the physics engine among other things just doesn't exist for combat. To put it plainly, the combat in the game makes Witcher 3 look smooth and its not a 'forced realism' type of combat, its just bad. This game plays more like Alpha Warband with combat but cooks your PC while also looking very bad no matter the graphics options. Its rude to leave a no on an early access game but I do feel the need to caution people, this is not something that can be fixed no matter how much patching is done, the engine can't support hand to hand combat and barely works with archery properly.

The villager/settlement building and AI management is pretty solid so if you wanted to just build villages and farm all day, the game could work for that. The meat of the story line and most exploration is combat though, so its a no from me.

A game in early access that is better than 99% of full release games. Theres nothing more I could say. Just buy it, just play it.

Imagine that uncle who starts working on something and then doesnt finish and goes to work on something else. This is basically all of MO2s systems. Then you have to suck your guild and random people off to get anything done economically in the game because your character is too retarded to learn multiple things compared to average human beings. All the while you are being chased by exploiting murder hobos watching you on 3 monitors.

Pretty good, basically a zombie hunting mobile game with character progression and basebuilding. I give it a thumbsup, even on max graphics on a PC over 1280 pixels it gets pretty grainy and ugly though, can definitely tell its a mobile port. If that kind of thing bothers you it will bother you.

Like everyone else said this gameplay is amazing, its awesome to run and gun and slice heretics apart and burn them to a crisp. However thats all you can do when a crafting system, a 'deep' class system and an 'evolving' storyline were part of the sale. Given that I paid 40 bucks for it and got 200+ hrs I'm not going to talk too badly but I'm not going to praise it either. I just can't recommend this because the company will not respond to criticism or the fact that they lied about multiple classes or the storyline and the crafting timeline. The game is barebones a drop in and kill things game and if they removed the 'player hub' and marketed as such, I would actually change my review to positive. Because dropping in, choosing your character and perks and weapons and then going to work would actually be a great advancement in this game rather then 3 different loading screens and a wait que to play with bots.

Edit: I would also like to point out that the servers are pretty bad at this time of writing the review, most ranged weapons hitreg is completely out of sync and you can't dodge most elite spawns with regularity and if a large hoard spawns it seems to takeup all the servers bandwidth to the point you can't swap weapons sometimes using quick swap.

2nd Edit: At least they are trying to turn it around so I'll flip the review to help the game not fall face first and die.

Got 2k hours in on PS4 and moved to PC to avoid the late game slowdown. Probably need a tiny bit stronger processor or maybe dont go over 1k pops by 2350 and I'd be fine too. Game delivers, every game is unique and chasing certain achievements by having to play down the game 10 different times is actually entertaining. Nows the perfect time to switch to PC because the game feels fresh with Overlord and Espionage so I don't feel like I'm making re-runs of what I already conquered on console plus everything only comes to 130 including Overlord (which you have to buy separately from the bundle mind you remember this).
