The player beginning almost naked and the game's very sudden and extremely gross display of gore after the first death, along with the abundance of statues of beheaded dismembered naked women made me extremely uncomfortable. After further inspection the store page does in fact say there is frequent gore at the very bottom but nowhere in the screenshots or trailer and nowhere in the game's description or about section. I was looking for a boomer shooter with cool gunplay mechanics, not this weird trojan horse of naked anime girl being torn apart in an exaggerated and honestly drawn out gory death scene. The gunplay at least seems neat but it's not enough to make me stick around. If this is your thing good for you.

Its the same game but first person and with proximity chat. Try yelling at the kids its fun.

This game has Wisp in it. No other game has Wisp. This game automatically wins by virtue of being the only game with Wisp.

I too used to become a ravenous cannibalistic beast if someone spotted me when I worked as a cleaner. Very realistic, 5/5!

I don't believe there is such a thing as a perfect game, but subnautica 1 almost perfectly achieves everything it does, from atmosphere to exploration. A survival crafting game with simple mechanics, subnautica takes the player on an accidental adventure through an alien ocean world with an extraterrestrial nightmare survival scenario that reminds me of Ridley Scott's 'The Martian'. Almost all of subnautica is spent under an alien ocean teeming with beautiful bioluminescent creatures and a chilling mystery to be solved, navigated in 3 different vehicles which are each excellent for different tasks (or with your own fins if you're feeling confident). Some fish you'll eat and some will eat you. Each has a place in the planet's ecosystem and many serve a function for the player to aid in survival - or danger to be avoided. I'll avoid spoiling the plot of the game and as such can't go into detail on what will have you wanting to swim deeper and deeper, and simply leave that for you to discover all on your own.

Sincerely, someone who has been in love with this game since they were a kid.

Lethal company was a big success when it first came out, and was extremely popular for about a month or two. At the time of typing this updated review the only people left playing the game are turbo sweats and children. It's still very fun if you're just playing with friends casually to have a good time but playing with randoms is like hopping from a bucket of snot-nosed screaming ♥♥♥♥ to another bucket of ♥♥♥♥ that kicks you out because it can't handle that losing is part of the gameplay loop. Only recommending as a party game to play with people you actually enjoy being around. Don't bother with the rest.

I watched the singleplayer AIs be torn apart by a hoard of Neco-Arcs and then was helplessly swarmed by them myself. 10/10.
