If you're thinking of picking this up for the multiplayer and you don't have a credit card, or don't want to drop hundreds of dollars, give this game a long pass. It used to be that you could grind out a decent amount of gold through the daily challenges, enough to unlock stuff like the season pass or the roles (The meat of the multiplayer, go figure, costs gold bars.) but the update to the economy has basically neutered gold bar income in game, you will only make a fraction of the gold off daily challenges, and if you do bounties, you have to wait until the last minute to turn them in to get the best pay out (Remember that 20 gold bar cost just to enter bounty hunting? lol.)

This isn't counting that the bulk of the cosmetics? 6 gold minimum, the new stuff? nearly 20 gold bars, the new revolver from the bounty hunter update? 21 gold bars, ontop of the 20 gold bar to entry fee, ontop of the *15* gold bar to entry "Prestige" license, so just to get the new shiny revolver from the update, you're looking at 65 gold bars. Have fun grinding *That* out.

it used to be you could streak daily challenges to get up to .4 gold bars per challenge, around 10 gold bars a day off challenges IF you had all the roles unlocked {100 gold bars for all five.} now at most you get .25 (4 daily challenge for 1 gold bar) and had a long streak (14 days minimum.) Now you're looking at, at most 6 gold per day, oh and your streak resets after 28 days and goes back to the measly .1 gold instead of .2, so you're barely able to get a gold bar for the first 7 days, if you do ALL the challenges, where as you could get about 3 on the first 7 days.

Rockstar has tipped their hand and showed that they do not care about the community or the game, they just want to milk the new little kids with access to daddies credit card coming in with the launch of RDO's "Individual" component, while ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ anyone who had the old game, you get NOTHING for having the old game. I would strongly recommend new players stay far away because unless you are willing to grind like crazy, its basically designed to make you spend money to get *anything* ontop of the entry price.
