Great game, performance is okay on my rig but a lot better than what most people claim (frame drops all the time etc which is not the case for me atleast)

Story is good too, being transferred there as a fifth year gives you some tutorial stuff but you dont have to go through the "first year student" ordeal again.

Some details where changed from the books and movies which are fine since they usually give you easier access to hogsmeade for example since you dont have to wait for actual in-game visiting weekends but can go there at all times if you so desire.

There are some original characters but also characters that we knew were at Hogwarts at that time for example Headmaster Phineas Nigellus Black. Other than Hogwarts you have nicely designed Hogsmeade to visit and you also travel to Gringotts shortly in the Prologue of the game.

The combat system is easy to understand and fun to explore with the different mechanics of rolling, blocking with proteco and using different attacking spells.

The soundtrack is also well-made; oftentimes you can hear glimpses of the original Hogwarts or Harry Potter themes but often the modulation is slighty different which gives the score a familiar feel.

The sound effects of the spells are great as well for example the little "woosh" when you cast Lumos that was particulary present in the later movies.

Overall a good to great game for people that enjoy the world of Harry Potter and like all the little easter eggs that were built in.

Thumbs up.

Pretty overwhelming game at first, it combines many elements from past Soulsborne titles eventhough some features have different names which causes confusion for long-time fans at first.
Open World approach; you either love it or hate it. Sometimes you get lost in a good way and sometimes you lose interest.

Overall very good game once you understand how it works and whether blocking, rolling or avoiding in different ways works best for you and your individual playstyle.

A lot of fun eventhough the performance is still rather disappointing on my rig.

The hype for this game was big but FromSoft delivered a great game.

One of the best Strategy Games out there atm, a little stale after 4 or 5 long playthroughs but you can always spice things up with one or two of the many great mods out there in the workshop.

Very good game eventhough it is kinda tricky from time to time. Some say the difficulty is harder than Dark Souls 3 and Bloodborne; some say it is simply unfamiliar yet to many players because of the different controls and gameplay mechanics (dodging, jumping, posture and stealth).

It is very enjoyable to finally beat a boss and/or an area that you had difficulty with and when you can finally move on to the next area. One can definitely see that Sekiro is a From Software game by looking at the general difficulty, dodging, parrying and the likes of the deep lore; but at the same time it feels very new and fresh due to the many possibilities of the stealth mechanics and the prosthetic tools and the Japanese style of weapons, armor and generally enemies and regions.

If you like playing Soulsborne games or simply like challenging games with a good story, I would definitely recommend Sekiro.

PS: If not, get gud.
