Hunt: Showdown is simply the best game I have played for about ten years.
Its atmosphere and pace is trully unique, and rewards both patience and bold moves.
It meshes hard, unforgiving PvP fights with plenty of AI that you must either engage or waste time to walk around.

You get to decide how to play each round (just make sure your partner is on the same page ! ) :
- Rushing the objective, then desperately run for your lives to the nearest exit
- Sneaking around until you hear noisy players and get the jump on them
- Follow every gun sound you hear, to silence them all and bring peace to the Bayou
- Anything you like as long as you can count it as a win, staying alive is the most important in the end

I must admit I am not the biggest fan of the recent UI changes; I believe the main menu where you equip your hunters could benefit from more clarity or quality of life improvement (drag and drop, simple right click to unequip,...)

However, I would recommend this game anytime, to any hardcore FPS player.
The developers are always listening to their players feedback and do their best to make this game the best possible.
