I gave this game several tries and ultimately had to put it down for good.

I was 10+ hours into a run and out of nowhere: Got attacked by a monster while long resting, that just immediately one shot my party. The great thing: I just came out of a super hard dungeon.
So in order to continue the game, I would have either had to go back about 3 hours of gameplay, or start from scratch.

It's honestly a shame. I really wanted to experience the story of this game, but I am not willing to backtrack half of the time I have put in, just to "maybe get unlucky again".

TL;DR Really good ideas, great soundtrack, Storytelling is lacking and the ending leaves more questions than answers. If you like the anime Food wars or really wanna learn about young adult cultural struggles and figuring our your sexual identity, give it a go.

Usually I don't really leave reviews for games but for this one, I will. I beat the game in just shy of 10 hours playtime and in it's current state I feel it hard to recommend it.
Let's talk positives first
- Artstyle: Probably one of the first things you see about this game, and for good reason: the art is vibrant, the colour pallete and animations are flashy. I enjoyed this aspect of the game a lot.
- Setting and Family drama: The setting is super interesting and I especially enjoyed the tension and relationship with Jala and her Family.
- Mini games: There are multiple mini games in this game, this includes Cooking, dancing and some other mini games. They are mostly fun and the dialogue between the characters in the mini games is witty.
-Soundtrack and SFX. Man what a bop, I was jamming to the music while skating for a good while.
- The Turn-based combat. The main reason i picked this game up was the combat, as it seemed a pretty refreshing take on the turn based RPG genre, which it was.

Now for the negatives:
- The turn-based combat. Yes, I just praised it in the positives, but the combat got really stale, really fast. It's the same quick time events for every move. They repeat a lot. There is never a real threat in combat and some of the combat is just a "I hope you have enough healing items to survive" test.
- Storytelling, specifically the characters. The game throws you into the story as if you have missed something in the beginning, only to then not explain what Jala has actually done wrong. The connection here is missing. Then the problem arises that, despite us as the player not knowing what Jala has actually done wrong, everyone (except Auntie C) absolutely despises us. None of the actual suitors/ exes are actually likeable characters. You try to "fix" your relationship throughout the game with them, but honestly most of them are just rude and I didn't want to make up with them.
- Skateboarding. This is not Tony Hawk and I am thankful that the skateboarding challenges are optional. The skateboarding is clunky at best and unplayable at worst. Jala snaps to locations even though you want to talk to the NPC in front of you, but oh well I guess you are rail grinding now.
- Bugs. Even though there weren't many, especially towards the end I had textures not load in properly, resulting in character models having no eyes or being just straight up textureless.
- The ending is just unsatisfactory. You only meet Paati in the last 30 minutes or so of the game, but as soon as you meet Aruni, the story just takes a nosedive from there. There is no way to actually romance/ make up with any of your exes of the Suitors, leaving you with mode open ends than you left off. But you made up with your family, I guess.

This is literally Fate: Stay/Night the RPG mixed with Jojo's. Would recommend.

Legend is an absolute classic. I have nostalgia bias for this game, but for good reason. The climbing feels smooth. All the locations are interesting. The characters are lovable, although very cheezy.
The downsides, or let's say, weakest aspects of this game are by far the motorbike sequences and the bossfights. Although, that's not really what you play the game for. The game also has quicktime events, but at the time this came out, that was a pretty popular mechanic, so I don't blame them. If you want a few hours of tomb exploring, climbing and mindless bad guy shooting, I'd highly recommend playing it.

Game is solid for a walking simulator although I have probably played better ones.
If you need a game that tickles that space ship edge, but don't want to spend too much time playing, this is for you.
It's rather short (~3 hours of playtime, if you explore a little) but brings an interesting concept and characters.
As a criticism I would say is that the decision to divide the game into parts feels a little off, seeing that it is so short.
Also the game does not initially tell you how you are supposed to play it and since it has a pretty unique gameplay style, you can find yourself missing out on a lot of the story, just because you have no idea how to approach the storytelling.

All in all it's a neat little game and probably worth your time if you have an hour or two to kill and want something unique and more interactive than reading a book.

Kind words is a game where you can write thoughts and feelings or just anything that comes to mind anonymously to other people. You then wait and after a while you get responses from random strangers that have decided to respond to your message. The community is very wholesome and if you have something that is bothering you or that you need to get off of your chest, or if you just need some encouraging words, this game will help you in achieving that.

The music is chill and helps you relax while you write your mind away. While others send you responses, you can also receive stickers as a reward, either for your question or the answer you have given to someone else. Stickers that you have already collected can be placed in your room as decoration. Collecting them is very satisfying and gives you a sense of encouragement in a strange way.

I never thought I would get into a game like this, but after reading a few of the letters I received and the questions people ask, it is fascinating how much it draws you in.

The only thign that I would have to critisize is, that of course the game is dependat on it's community and especially in the little paper airplanes you can sometimes find troll messages. Furthermore some of the topics discussed by people are not for the lighthearted, so be aware to treat this game with a little caution.

Honestly one of the best remakes of a game to ever exist. It is my favourite title of the series. It took the elements of the old title and pictured it in a new light, without losing any of it's charm.

Early Access Review
I bought this game a while back and... it does not work. I've tried booting it up multiple times. But no. It gets stuck in the loading screen, changes it's resolution to the lowest possible, freezes my pc and then doesn't respond. I have to restart my pc every time this happens. Charging 20$ for this game is a joke. Even if it's in Early acess, for that price, you'd atleast expect it to work.
