I had this before allegedly

At this current time I cannot recommend this CDLC. The total lack of content and further inability to have on vanilla servers without people having to own it greatly limits its usage. If this and other 2035 set CDLC's were apart of base game I would recommend them all.

Unalike the others this does have a massive lack of content. In saying all of this what it does add is high quality and it is clear heart has been put into this. For the time being I would suggest not buying this CDLC until more content is added.

Great game for just calming down and making a little hovel

Ryse isnt the only thing rising in a Son of Rome

Much like the first, its just a brilliant game. Combat is fun, exploration is fun. Sure there being limited fast travel at times is annoying. In saying that you are able to find stones that you can put down and then fast travel to it. Again much like the first game.

As for the micro transactions that have driven people away. Everything that is offered through that you can just obtain ingame. You never have to go out of your way to find them/craft them. In the 18 hours I have played I would not have known they were in had it not been for people crying about it and making false claims.

The fps issues people have gotten have thankfully not found their way to me. However a new release having said issues is unacceptable. Like with most games I am very sure it will be sorted soon. I couldnt recommend this game more. If you want to try a game like this get the first one and make your decision from there. Its significantly cheaper. The story is fantastic and landscape has just as much effort put into it.

Its battlefront, it has its issues. None of which I hadnt ran into playing the og. If you dont care for multiplayer and just want a star wars shooter its fantastic and does that well. However in saying that buying the originals will save you money. When I was younger I played both extensively and loved it. Playing it again with that console UI is nostalgic. The jank that is Battlefront remains.

Overall do I recommend it? Yes, its fun. I have had no issues playing it.
Again if you want more mods etc then buy the originals.
If you want a really good and modern star wars experience, buy the new ones
