I didn't know what to expect playing this, but it definitely fulfills the atmospheric and mystery aspect. Everywhere I looked, I wanted to find more. I wanted to explore, to learn more about the world, and when it was over, I verbally exclaimed "Noooo! I wasn't done!"

I went in expecting nothing, and received everything I wanted.

This game is a hidden gem for me. When I bought the Humble Heroine 2025 Bundle, I planned on just giving the key away, but changed my mind at the last minute. Installed it since it's only 440mb, and it earned itself a place in my Favorites category in 15 minutes.

The gameplay is basic enough, everyone dies in 1 shot, including yourself with a boss fight after 100 kills. But what makes it more fun is that you can complete challenges to unlock new revolvers and perks, which you can tune to your gameplay style. Dual shotgun revolvers? Why the hell not?

The sound design is immaculate, the guns sound punchy and the bullet casings hitting the ground when you reload releases dopamine into my brain. The music is fine, it works well enough as background noise.

In short, this game is well worth the $5 USD price tag, and it's a practically a must-have, even if you aren't the biggest fan of top-down shooters.

The first time I completed this game, was in 20 minute intervals in the handicap stall where I worked in 2012.

The Pixel Remaster has some nice QOL, such as turning off random encounters and boosts to EXP and Gil gain. However, my favorite part of this game is that you can pick what your party is. Whether it be a team that's useful or just 4 of the same class, it's up to you. The story itself is very simplistic and the game is short, but it's a very enjoyable experience and a great start to getting into JRPGs.

My only complaint was that if you don't have a knight, then you miss out on using most of the items. It seemed like nearly every equipment I obtained from chests was exclusive to the knight class.

A great time killer. Bought it on itch.io before it was brought here, glad to see it again. Now it has a multiplayer update for fun with friends!

Purchased CD key through a third party seller, which successfully activated. However, I did not have access to the Ultimate Brawlers Pass despite owning it. After emailing support and providing proof of purchase and ownership, they informed me that they no longer offer support for WWE 2K Battlegrounds and advised that I apply for a refund.

I usually don't like twin stick shooters, but this game is an exception. Solid and fun, it blew my expectations out of the water and leaves me wanting more.

Unfortunately, this game is being review bombed because of the issue with Helldivers 2 (PSN suddenly being mandatory 3 months after launch) and that's not fair.

Please, direct your frustration to the cause. Do not let citizens of Super Earth get caught in the crossfire!

While I am aware of the tag for "Requires 3rd-Party Account: PlayStation Network (Supports Linking to Steam Account)", it was not enforced at launch. Making it mandatory 3 months down the line, far past the 2 week refund period, while selling it to players who cannot even make a PSN account because of the country they live in, is vile. Sony threw away any and all goodwill with this enforced account linking to their low security service. Helldivers 1 does not require an account link, there is no pro-consumer reason for Helldivers 2 to have it.

If this was mandatory at launch like many other companies (EA, Ubisoft, etc) it would be a different story, but 3 months later? The lesson here is to not purchase at launch, but instead wait and avoid the bait-and-switch.

No update since September 2022, abandonware.

I cannot recommend this game in the current state. It has been out for a few months now, and none of the updates seem to be helping. I don't have a monster of a rig, so it's partly on my end, but friends with beefier machines are crashing just as often as I am. We crash looking into our inventories, standing there, loading into caves, I even crashed walking into the Overseer's Arena. Some of the QOL improvements are nice, but it's all overshadowed by how many times you are going to be relaunching the game. Skip this and let it cook for a few more years.
