OMG!!!! Soooo Good!!! Ambiance, vibes, dramatic but subtle changes, without spoiling it, you have to experience this for yourself!!!! Conner Rush, you sir, are a true artist!!! I would play anything you make in the future! Props to FYRE Games, you really knocked it out of the park!!! Such a hidden gem!

If you are considering or haven't given Days Gone a chance, you are doing yourself a terrible injustice. Let me start by saying I had seen the trailers, and heard some hype about the game, read some bad reviews about it in early stages, etc. Still, went in hopeful to see what this new fast paced open world had to offer. Ill be honest, I was not too impressed in the first few hours, this game has an intense atmosphere that made you feel so preyed upon exploration and a few of the other mechanics took a minute to fire up, but once they did, Woah!!! If the devs see this, you guys did 10/10! This game hooks you like few others can, and the different ports flowed together so seamlessly they all felt fresh and new. Everything from the gameplay to the visuals and audio scored just popped and soared. I haven't felt a world I was so invested in trying to save since Subnautica or RDR2. The characters and voice acting were AAA quality, the narrative kept you going, while exploring when you needed a breath. I seldom take the time to review the games I play or really put thought into it past playing it, but this game was a gem imo, you can feel the time and energy that the devs took to bring you this look into their view of the end of times. I had very little run in with bugs, and one crash my whole first play through, which felt super minor, my autosave made sure I had very little backtracking. Overall the point of my review is that if one person is considering the purchase or "is it worth it?" in my opinion, 100% yes, worth every penny!

Its a rough game. It can be fun, but you will also spend most of your time frustrated. If you are new to online gaming, be prepared for a pretty harsh intro. Competitive, toxic behavior, and some pretty rough after game chats. That being said I can't seem to stop playing it.
