This expansion gives you one new mastery, a new act of gameplay, and two new NPC services: relic crafting and (praise Zeus) a caravan that allows you to store all those extra items you swear might be useful someday and allows you to transfer things between characters. I'd say that alone makes this worth the upgrade.
