Absolutely excellent game, the gameplay is all there, the devs are very very active, and its worth playing even if few other people are, its THAT good!

Game good, management maybe not so, I love this game, this world, the devs have taken something that was basically dead (Warhammer Fantasy) and made something awesome with it. This game does everything I like about things like civ and stellaris, but better. That said... the company let a bug fester where some of the races in the game would idle at spawn when played by the AI. As far as anyone cknows, they only fixed it because of the huge review bomb. Im glad they fixed it, and hope they dont act like that again.

Also, wait for a sale to buy the DLCs, buy the previous two games before any DLCs, and a DLC pack also unlocks all the base units for use as the DLC faction. Furthermore, you can ally in-game to get any DLC unit you want, except the stuff from Nakai (Lizardmen) and The Changeling (Tzeentch) who have no settlements.

Be sure to watch LegendOfTotalWar s video on why the difficulty settings are extremely misleading and makes the game significantly worse before you play, those are still genuinely broken

Game is absolutely fantastic- any fans of grey hat espionage will love this.

It's like playing Skyrim again for the first time.

Malware. Made by a company in mainland china and reportedly turns off people's internet. In my experience regularly disconnects me from the internet for 30+ seconds before reconnecting, even after I uninstalled it. Made my computer almost unusable because I'm constantly losing connection in games and while watching videos. Do not download at any cost.

Edit: It also keeps making my bluetooth headphones cut out. Actual malware.

You guys gave me a plastic addiction, great game, would say "I'm not buying that plastic for that price" again. In all seriousness, excellent challenging game that captures 40k really well. I don't play these armies in the actual physical game, but I will always love these guys because of this game. Great music, too!

I loved these games as a kid and I'm thourougly pleased to be able to play them as an adult. Getting to see some behind the scenes info is aweome too and I really like the presentation here. I loved all this guy's games and I have to say this is really worth picking up!

Game could be promising, but as it stands it's really, really barebones. The main thing that's mostly done is the map system, which I think still has a little way to go. The gameplay is not very well fleshed out, and currently feels only slapped on the map system. While the idea is really really cool, the game is definitely unfinished. Others have said it, it's too much for what's there right now. That said, I very well may pick this up in a while after it fully releases, because the idea of defending anywhere on the world is exciting, and does seem functional, but again, is yet to be finished. TL;DR, game needs more time to cook but it may well be pretty good when it's done.
