I feel bad about your experience with this game. Shitty communities are why I stick to single player games. However, don't let the community ruin the game for you.

Ayo sorry about that. The civilian and AI occasionally does that for me but otherwise I had quite an enjoyable experience (24h logged rn, more from when I tested a copy before I bought it). There are people modding stuff in already even without official support, and there is an upcoming patch before the end of January that improves on several of the issues with the jank of it.

It is early access after all, so some of that is to be expected, if it doesn't suit you right now maybe just keep an eye on it until the later stages of development! :)

Additionally I asked the community if the game was really worth it and they got very defensive and basically told me to go f myself. So I decided i'd rather just keep my 40 bucks.

@Guardsman No. I was expecting it to be tense and gritty but the tension dissolved as the AI did laps of the room

I hope you weren't expecting the game to play out like Call of Duty or Rainbow 6 Siege

Sucks to suck, I guess. Sorry that that was your experience. Tbf, the game is supposed to feel "clunkier," ingame movement is supposed to not be as fluid and fast as other shooters, and on top of that, civilians and suspects are supposed to be faster than you. IMO, suspect AI is fine, but could use more tweaking overall, and civilian AI can be annoying occasionally, running around like chickens without heads, as you put it. I believe objectively, this is a game with a great base and a lot of room to improve. Up to you if you don't want to play it, but I think you'll be missing out on a great, if not unfinished, product.
