I know I am old and whatnot, but the use of aimbots in shooters is why multiplayer games are dying. Watching someone full auto a MP7 from one target to me across the map without ever stopping shooting, on a dime in the opposite direction lets me know how fun this will be.... I don't blame the company. I blame the civilization circling the drain. Why is there no shame for cheating while playing against others? If morality is so bad that you can't even run multiplayer video games, we are in trouble... Especially since the average age of gamers is early 30's.

GOOD GAME

I really wish this game had stable fps. I don't even care if it is stable at 40, just get it leveled out. The game itself could use a little balancing, and the units sometimes just freeze. I would recommend it for $20, but they need to address the minor concerns they have so that I can actually enjoy it and see how it plays.

One of the best games of all time. Mod it a little and enjoy it a lot. Deepest lore in any RPG ever. One of the truest feelings of exploration that has ever been created in game. The Daggerfall mods are really cool, but this game is still their best.

No longer playable on my rig. Never finished the game. Turned it into a games as a service model with their kickstarter money and abandoned the console edition after fighting for the rights back. Should hire people to help them finish it. Instead, just show a total disregard for people who like the game. If you are constantly building a newer high end gaming PC every year, you will not find a problem with this. It is a fun game. Too bad they don't respect their original paying customers. - EDIT: Fun Pimps seems to have gotten their stuff together of late. The new Alpha 20 patch solves a lot of the performance issues on my low end rig and makes the game more enjoyable overall. I will be very excited to see the full game release and possibly come over to my Series X. I own the original console version, but would be willing to purchase it again if it is finished and ported to the new machines well.

One of the RTS greats. Takes a lot of good mechanics and invents some new ones that follow the rest of the genre. Maybe the last "GREAT" RTS we have received.

This game rocks. I loved Star Control 2. I grew up playing it on the 3d0 and regularly revisit it on PC with "The Urquan Masters" freeware. This is a true successor. Pay no mind to the two programmers, which did nothing to bring us a sequel for 25 years, and then decide to sue a fantastic company like Stardock for being such a fan of their creations, to bring it back from the dead. Now they are making a sequel? I will play it if they actually do, but I highly doubt it. Star Control 3 was abysmal and they are crowdfunding for legal fees to sue Stardock? Stardock is one of the best companies in gaming. They patch and update games even after the sequel game comes out. Nobody else does that. Nobody else provides the level of detail they provide. Sins of a Solar Empire and Galactic Civilizations are beyond incredible. They don't even need to make games. The parent company codes for all kinds of things. They decided to make games because it sounded fun. That is why their games ARE so much fun. Paul Reiche and Fred Ford will take everyone supporting them for a ride. They are rich. Period. And they are crowdfunding for legal fees. They have no intention of providing any new Star Control games. They will block their IP if they have their way and none of us will ever see another one. Stardock didn't do this for money. They could have made a Sins sequel and made 6 to 7 times the amount of money they made on this and put in probably less work. They love the series and Brad Wardell had permission to go ahead and then they decided they wanted to choke Stardock for more money, apparently because choking parents who bought Skylanders toys wasn't enough. This is a rare case were the big company is totally in the right. GO STARDOCK! Even though I get frustrated when you release so many expansions to your games, at least your bringing content. 25 years and nothing from the other two. They would have never even considered it.

This is one of the best games I have ever played. It is a natural progression to GC2, instead of trying to totally change itself like so many other games from sequel to sequel. 5/5. Just keep adding on to this.

I absolutely love this game, but I can't play it because I bought a new computer and the DRM IS GARBAGE!! Please remove DRM!!! The game is crazy cheap and no one is pirating it.... I kind of want to now though. I probably will have to just to play A GAME THAT I PAID FOR!! This DRM trash needs to stop. It isn't clever and it doesn't stop piracy. It only harrasses people who buy games on steam. Most pirated games have their own way to launch idiots. None of them launch through steam.....
