I had no idea this was a thing I needed in my life. My life full of turbulence. My job that considers most of my time to belong to it and then my home life where I scramble to serve my child, my friends and my sibling. Where I cook food at a blazing speed and then sit down to relax with a game where I do the same gd thing.

I don't know where everything went wrong but this game makes it feel right. It's Diner Dash without the Diner. It's Cooking Mama without the bubbly sexism. It's Lemonade Tycoon without the effing Lemonade. I don't know. It's so many things.

Get this game if you want lounge music softly playing in your head forever. Get this game if you want something to innocuously look delicate yet smack you around with the blunt end of a kitchen cleaver. It's fun. You don't realize it first but it's fun.

This is the game that I wanted from a Harvest Moon sequel. One that never came. One that, after playing Harvest Moon on the SNES, I awaited. The makers of this game took such time and delicate patience in building their own version. One that includes lovely story, people within the town that are engaging and well written and it helps that it has started a community of decency and warmth.

The style is impossibly heartwarming. You should take this game and live in it for awhile. Turn off your phone and zone out to the simplicity of living in Stardew Valley.

You don't just need Armello now, this game was needed ten years ago. Armello brings me back to a simpler time when gaming felt like an excursion in to another realm. And here, with the help of the other Armellians and even some multiplayer companions, I can escape into that realm.

The music is so intensely beautiful that I sought out the soundtrack via Armello.com.
The visuals harken to Redwall with a color pallette that looks like a fairy tale of paint and bloom.
The gameplay is so quick to grab onto and satisfying that you'll lose hours to it as you perfect strategies.

I could say so many things and I've reviewed this game once already online but I will say that this game deserves the meager price in which it's offered and don't let the Early Access scare you away -- this game is as polished as you could expect from a full release and is being updated regularly.

Not enough love can be expressed for Armello. It deserves evangelizing.

If you stay with it, The Stanley Parable can offer you something deeper and more enriching than an hour would have you believe. It's the process of peeling back layers and tasting each bit of ambience and narrative that it has to offer that will make you see its scope. There is a thing such as a guided tour through a writer's sense of nuance and that's what The Stanley Parable is. It's leading someone through paths they may not go through and rewarding people who stay put and give it enough attention. Don't just get The Stanley Parable because you heard it was interesting. Get The Stanley Parable because you have several hours to devote to uncovering the intent of its creation. It's worth it. You're worth it.

This game devastated me. Left me with a thousand questions and not about the game, the creator(s) or anything else but how often I can say I've done the very same things. Beautiful. An absolute masterclass in using video games as an expression of self.

At the jump, let me say that HuniePop is an incredibly intricate game. If you immediately push aside all of the notions of what the game is basically stating -- it is an entertaining jaunt through a guy, his mystical boner fairy and the girls he meets around town. There are facets of this game that are so well done and carefully crafted that I think people overlook them. Layers upon layers of 'buff' phases where you can amplify how well you do in the dating puzzle game, leveling up you can do through your personal player stats, date gifts that can also change the course of a game, currency that can lend to date simplicity... I mean, the list goes on and on.

It would be stupid to look at screenshots of this game and draw simple conclusions. It would also be stupid to ignore the witty dialogue and interesting characters. It would be even more stupid, however, if you took this game as anything other than a fun 'romp' and wanted to tone police the piece. It is meant to be sexy, silly, slightly offensive and stylized. To consider it anything other than a slick, sticky and sweet coating to a rather jawbreaker of entertainment would be to miss what it is at the core.

A damn fun game.

It took awhile to get into the logistics of this game and get good but when I did, it reminded me of old DOS games like Rockstar with the depth of reality and quirky humor. Being a reviewer and playing this game makes it even more amusing.

I cannot, in good faith, recommend this game to anyone with any obsessive compulsive disorder or perhaps anyone who just wants to see where the rabbit hole goes. If you must play, do not play alone for it starts in as something innocent but goes into Werner Herzog territory very quickly. Be careful with this game because you will never stop playing it. Ever.
