This game is the best WW2 shooter I've ever played. This, to me, is what I always wanted out of a shooter and what I wish Battlefield evolved into. This is the only shooter I've had this much fun with since the original Battlefields (1942, Vietnam) and I wish I could quit my job and play this full time lmao.

I recommend this game, but I don't think it's perfect or great, just very good.

Pros:
- Fun core gameplay if you're a fan of dynasty warriors or mount and blade
- Graphics are good enough
- You can compete against players that have spent money as a F2P

Cons:
- Tons of different mobile game-esque half-hidden menus and "reward" screens
- Convoluted and hard to understand progression systems

If you like the formula and gameplay of Bannerlord, this is an overall very solid rough-around-the-edges iteration on the same concept. Lots of fun to play and carve your own path.

If you're on the fence, just buy the game. I really haven't had this much fun gaming in years. The game can be played as casual or as hardcore as you want to play it, and that's the real beauty of it. From just chatting with a few of your friends in a normal difficulty game, to trying to coordinate 30+ people in a hardmode modded server to even be able to survive (not unlike raiding in WOW)- the game really just has so many options. The fact that three maps and four perks give me so much enjoyment already tells me that the full game is going to keep me coming back for years.

The game is a fantastic social experience, I've met a ton of people. I've played almost forty hours so far, so at fifty cents and hour I've already gotten my money out of it. It can be a little frustrating to find friends, but overall the game is really quite good. You will have a great time.

I am a long time series fan, and this game along with the original Age of Empires are two of my favorite games ever. I think that this game holds up really well in most ways (like most RTS's tend to) and is still a really enjoyable experience, even if someone were to play without nostalgia goggles. The multiplayer is very much still alive and kicking as well. I would definitely recommend this to any fan of the series or general RTS fans, or even those who want to try out the genre- this game is fairly straightforward to learn.
