Seriously, no game is perfect, but Fallout 76 is certainly no exception.

This game is just a way to milk money from the Fanboys of the franchise with as little effort as possible. It's just a multiplayer Fallout 4, it has lots of bugs, glitchs, exploits and hacks, where the Devs don't care fixing and just ignoring feedback. Servers are also crap.

I play it not because it's a Fallout, not because it's a Bethesda game, let alone because of God Todd Howard. I only play because I like "looter shooter, MMO, open world, post apocalyptic, coop, live service" games. (My most played game at the moment is Warframe 5k hs) If the game were just called "76" I would play the same way.

If you are looking for a complete old style single player game with a complex and memorable story then this game is not for you, but if you like exploring, doing some random quests and a meh story I can guarantee you that in the single player aspect you will have at least 100 hours of gameplay.

But if you're betting on live service games, this game still has a lot of potential and it's worth paying to see (especially on sale and on Xbox Game Pass)

No, you don't need to buy the monthly subscription. I played for over 1k hours without needing a private server, scrap box and atoms (it's just a totally optional convenience, mainly because you won't use 10,000 scraps at once and you don't need to keep all the crap you find on the ground). Speaking of atoms you don't need then either as there's nothing that gives you an advantage in the shop that you can't get through the game.

After all that, what still motivates me to play is the cooperative aspect of the game. Few games allow for a cooperative open world experience like this, 24 players defeating a world boss, each with their own style, build, level and goal. It's something beautiful that doesn't lose its fun! Too bad there is only one...
