Early Access Review
I'm convinced this game will never be finished, so they can coax on the government grants I've heard about for being paid. Updates and the pace at which this game is developed is hilariously slow, I feel like i'm looking at a second star citizen.

My advice? Don't buy unless desperate to get your hands on a new M&B title, otherwise wait till full release and then get mods where the community will do the work the devs didn't.

Oh, this is probably the only time I'll ever write a review for such a smelly piece of garbage of a game. This is what I would call the proverbial "as wide as the ocean but as deep as a puddle" phrase. I mean, I'll open this review up right now as the bottom-line statement, "if you love games like minecraft but also love dinosaurs, I guess this is for you".

First of all, I bought this out of pure obligation to join some friends, and boy I haven't hated a game this much in awhile. Its always run like complete Snail feces. Its just "farming items so u may simply survive and make/farm better items". There's a few bosses and that makes things interesting but, ultimately... The base gameplay is shallow, boring, and repetitive. Swing a weapon, shoot a gun, mindlessly smack a resource to collect it. Real "fun" amirite?

The world is huge, and I *guess* the game looks pretty good. I will be honest, my review to a degree is bias since the survival genre I already find to be stupid on a conceptual level but that's a story for another time.

Furthermore, the developers of this game don't deserve a dime. Decently expensive Paid DLC when they aren't even done with the base game, a game in early access? A extremely greedy, and bad move. The game's core fundamental issues such as performance (I run a i7-6700k w/ 16 GB of RAM, and a EVGA GTX 980 OC) its obvious they spent all their time not developing the game, but taking money from people. Disgusting. And now they want to release this horrid-running game that honestly has extremely little content? (PS No, mods don't count. Because that's not the developer creating content now is it?)

Ultimately, I don't understand the sheer addiction to this game nor its genre. You go out and farm stuff in a extremely simplistic environment and "survive". Just go outside and go camping if u want that experience, it'll be more interesting too instead of toiling away for a few dinosaurs and grinding out resource collection, I suppose this is for you.

So many more games with actually interesting story or lore, like Divinity: Original Sin or with interesting, deep gameplay like the Battletech game coming out or Stellaris. And if u like anime, some great VNs now exist in english here too. Oh, and if I want to grind away, I have tons of MMORPGs to play but at least the gameplay is actually fun.

So to those who enjoy it, well, have fun. I'll be off doing something actually *good*.

Just let me start off saying PUBG is a fun game. Good premise, nice map to play on, and reasonable enough graphics. But that's where it ends.

Let me just say this game could be very good with work, but this game is anything but good in its current state. The word of the day for this game is inconsistency.

Here's a laundry list of what makes this game honestly awful.

-Memory leaks worse than I've ever seen on minecraft (which is really saying something) which by the way, its topped out at 9.5GB of ram. Just wow. You must've took effort to code a game bad enough to do that.
-Obvious Weapon imbalance (Vector is hilariously OP and the Remington shotgun u can snipe with, while pump shotgun is a joke) and a fairly abysmally small weapon choice
-FPS is not stable (I have 16 GB of Ram, I7-6700k, and a GTX 980 OC for a small idea of specs)
-Vehicles are literally trash. They handle completely stupidly, boats allow for outrageous exploitation, and have fun going on the motorcycle. Its a death sentence for a number of reasons.

But I can forgive almost all of that cuz everyone will cry "But its early access!" to cover up for (most) of my complaints, if it were not the thing that spoils the game: The way zones work. First of all, when the zone closes in it'd be NICE to not let it always entirely favor one group/group of people. It should TRY to be a bit fair (in the middle of all remaining groups. Second, it closes so fast. I always have the feeling i'm crazily rushing for gear and running for another part of the map WAY WAY WAY MORE than ever trying to engage people. It sucks so much fun out of the game.

I got this game as a gift, and let me tell you... I would not have dropped money on this. It needs way too much work to get a truly consistent, fun experience. Perhaps the devs will fix some of this, but I suspect balance and the zone mechanics are going to forever be awful.

This game will appeal to you if you can forgive those things, are a PVP junkie who basically gets off to angering people, or those who can enjoy a PVP game but cannot take it seriously. Because let me tell you, winning is pretty heavily influenced by luck. Not skill.

Seems this particular Warframe pack has the tendency to not apply, and looking into this issue this is a very common problem for this particular platnium pack. I myself have had this issue and its a real pain. If you are looking to buy a pack on steam for warframe, if you can help it, BUY THIS ONE LAST OR AVOID IT COMPLETELY. Save yourself the headache I and many others have went through.
