Helldivers 2 is an amazing experience and I'm so happy to have gotten in on this game from the onset. I haven't played a game that's made me this excited in a long long time. It deserves all the praise it gets and more. This is how a live service game SHOULD BE. Arrowhead is a great developer and in the midst of all of Sony's corporate greed trying to hinder it, they had the player's backs.

Thank you AH for this game, your continued support of the game, and the support of the community.

We aren't expecting perfection. But man is AH doing a pretty good job.

This experience was amazing and I can't recommend this game enough. This game was similar in play to limbo, little nightmares, Inside, etc in gameplay. A simple puzzle platformer. If you liked those games, you'll like this 100%. But this game hits different. The environment, the cute character, the subtle story telling, THE MUSIC, everything is a culmination into a wonderful game and the devs deserve nothing but support. I kept asking myself the entire time playing "This is seriously free?"

Love yourself and play this game. And go support the devs however you can.

Good game. Dug until I found a long open cavern. Got hit by a bus. 10/10 would jump into traffic again.

Edit: After over 500 hours in this game, I can say that this game is amazing and would recommend to most people.

Also watch out for the second bus.

Just went to look back at when I bought this game. March 31st 2017. I have watched this game go from its infantile stages to now at 1.0. I have gotten many hours out of this but I also genuinely enjoyed watching the community grow. It's a fantastic game and I can't recommend it enough.

Oh and my favorite bug during development was when the hammer + jetpack was implemented, a forward swing would hold it out like how you do with a sword. It was pretty much a battering ram that Doborog quickly patched out since it was OP. Still good memories though.

My favorite part is probably the horde mode. The combat is fluid and fun. It's a good game.

EDIT: They completely changed the horde mode and you have to defend an NPC now. Literally a downgrade in concept. Horde modes are supposed to be "Objective Survive" not defend the brainless bot. Changed my review to negative. Unfortunate to see a good game go bad.
