Wednesday’s food for thought:

“When our phones are at 10%, we run to find an outlet to plug up; to plug in. When it comes to ourselves, we run on 10% all the time. Why don’t we have the same sense of urgency to find an outlet to recharge?”

Okay so this one's a little philosophical. Are we alone in the universe?

Well, the most common elements on Earth are Hydrogen, Helium, Oxygen and Carbon

The most common elements in the universe are same, and in the same proportion as on Earth

That means if the planets are at an ideal distance from their respective star and it gets a few trillion years of natural trial and error, chances of it harbouring life is not impossible. Also the sheer scale of our universe means that it's almost impossible that we are alone in the universe given all the compositions of life on Earth are already present.

Most arguments I've heard so far from others is, why didn't we find anything yet! That's because our sample size is so embarrassingly small that it's impossible to come to the conclusion that there's no life and that we're special.
