It’s simple, a Romanian is a Caucasian Latin/Slav who comes from Romania. A Romany person or Rromani is a G.y.p.s.y traveler who originate from Punjab region of Northern India. An Italian from Rome is simply just an Italian.

The name Romania comes from Latin and it reffered to “Citizens of Eastern Roman Empire” who speak a language similar to that of Rome. Romanian being a very close language to Latin and all the other Romance languages. Romanians are a very diverse people, they are primarily white but also brown and olive skinned.

Rromani or Roma people are an Indo-Aryan ethnic group primarily Asiatic and often mixed with all sorts of people they’ve came in contact over millennia and whilst making their way to Europe hundreds of years ago.
