One of the greatest times playing any game I've had in over a decade of PC gaming. This game tickles the parts of my brain just right, it has deep rich battle simulation, fun grand strategy campaign mechanics and amazing selection of unique and lore-filled factions, units, and legendary lords to lead your armies. The 300th hour felt just as rewarding as the first hour, and the more I learned about the game the more rewarded I felt about my choices and strategies that I used to succeed in the game.

In short: Buy this for Immortal Empires, buy this if you love grand strategy and buy this if you love modding your games to suit your personal preferences.

Don't buy this game if you don't enjoy investing a lot of time into something, or learning from mistakes, don't buy this game if you get easily frustrated when the first idea you had on something doesn't work out, and don't buy this game if you don't enjoy other games like it such as XCOM (to a limited extent) or games like Stellaris and Civilization(Which is fully turn based for combat but still demonstrates a similarity for how the campaign map in Warhammer 3 works).

Early Access Review
It's a great tactical team focused game. It's comparable to the likes of ARMA, but still unique and has a super helpful and friendly playerbase which is hard to find in a lot of games. Just join in, take a role, listen to your squad lead, and you'll have a good time.

Early Access Review
This has been one of the most rage inducing games I've ever played plagued with a super toxic 'it's early access so it has bugs' group of players. Sure, it's got bugs I can look past but the playerbase is exactly the kind of people I think should take anger management classes on the weekend. It's spawn camping, it's unbalenced and poorly thought out, and it's above all else for me: not fun. I play games like Battlefield to feel good, to relieve stress, all this 'game' has done is made me feel terrible about myself for things out of my control that were not thought of when putting this game out into early access. I hope it becomes something better, because this is the type of game I want, but in the state it's at I can safely say to stay away if you care at all about feeding into toxic behavior that early access titles breed. If you're charging money for something, it ought to at least deliver on a hint of the premise that you put forth for your game.

Edit: someone didn't read my review and just blindly told me I'm smoking crack, obviously I'm going to delete that seeing as they proved my point right there. A game that charges you money needs to be fun enough to deliver on the premise it sets out. The game is poorly optimized, filled with people who are willing to defend it no matter what, and who will call any review stating otherwise to their point of view wrong. What does the game have? It has customization for guns, and killstreaks, it has big maps.

What does it lack? Among other things it hasn't solved the spawncamping issues that we all know and love, it hasn't fixed optimization so the game can run well on modern computers, it hasn't spellchecked some of its content which while minor does speak to the fact they're rushing to get things done rather than taking their time. A game made by an eager bunch of gamers is a dangerious thing, it can be good, but to be good requilres delays. They shot for the stars early with hope of being an indie classic on early access, but that was not the case as the other mixed reviews can clearly show.

It's got a great story, tons of DLC, and funny characters, there isn't anything I don't love about this game.
