after playing this series from the very beginning, i have to say i am wholly unimpressed with the unresponsive nature of every single unit in this game.

entire mass formations of infantry units have spent whole battles running back and forth between staging grounds and battle with an absolute zero amount of time spent in actual combat.

villagers refuse to stop resource gathering until they *THEY* decide they randomly want to, usually several minutes after being told to do so.

i have stupid sheep that wont stop following my scouts.

this game is incredibly frustrating and nearly unplayable. units are completely unable to be controlled. for the first time, i actually hate an AOE game. i rage quit my first real campaign because i don't see a point in playing a REAL TIME strategy game that refuses to accept my REAL TIME instructions. what a sad day.
